Your choices are to take your firearm with you or leave it in the craft. If you take it with you there is no problem, if you leave in your craft, I’ve heard it should be unload and disabled and possibly out of sight. It appears to come down to the idea of how a firearm should be safely left in an unattended vehicle. Not the fact that you might be in the middle of nowhere. To be on the safe side, you should probably take your trigger lock with you when you board your craft to go out duck hunting, you just never know.
