And another one, wow I think these guys will need a crate of ammo.

If somehow I made that video of myself the last thing I would do is release it to the world.
LOL.....the guys that spends too much time getting the best gun/scope/ammo combo and not enough time shooting it. I am sure each of us know that guy. Shows up the day of the hunt and when asked if they sighted their gun it they say it was 'on' last year and I have not touched the gun since then.
Just not fair to the hunter in that second video ,why was the deer not tied up.
Must be a lot of stupid deer around ! I’ve never found one around here !! Lol
I have so many funny stories about bad shooting, bad luck, just stupidity, ALL kinds of dumb sht.
The best one from this year.
We dogged one bush, my buddy and I are doggers. His dad, My uncle and 2 other guys are on watch. Standers kept teasing us that if the dogs don't do good they aren't getting fed tonight and might not make it out of the bush alive.
Ya ya, I said , Just make sure you guys can shoot.
The run is over and no shots are taken. Moved a few deer around and my uncle that was in the best stand walks up to us and says "damn dogs can't follow a track or what?" (Hes half kidding)
He proceeds to chirp us a bit then goes to unload his gun....nothing comes out
...dumb old bugger forgot to load it when he got to his stand. LOL we almost crying from laughter on the way out. Who knows how many deer went past him.
Now another guy that tried shooting a moose with his Browning BAR 30.06. Big bull is 50 yards away and he's trying to load his gun real quiet.
Instead of letting the bolt slam shut he was easing it forward to be quiet (bolt wasn't shut)
He goes to pull the trigger and nothing...ejects that shell and pushes bolt forward nice and easy....goes to shoot and nothing again....
Proceeds to unload every shell from the gun without getting a shot off. Bull walks off unscathed.
Comes back to camp royally pissed off about to throw the gun in the burn barrel....my dad grabs the gun, loads one shell, slams the bolt closed, Aims at the target and BOOM. gun works fine, dont be so gentle with it.
Few off the top of my head....lol

It is just buck fever on steroids. I know about that.
When I was much younger and had shot only a few deer in my life, I was hunting with a new group of hunters during a shotgun season. Two guys and myself were about to dog out a bush to the other guys who weren't in place yet. We were at our start off spot and the other two guys were sitting on a log having a smoke and I was standing facing them waiting for the guys to radio saying they were in place. I said to them, "Here comes a buck". It was behind them and they did not move or even turn their heads. They said, "It's all yours". These two were probably the best hunters in the group and all of a sudden my heart started to pound. They were staring into my face from about 8 feet away and I was waiting for the buck to present a broadside shot. Well it did, but I had started to shake and hit it too far back and them proceeded to miss with my two follow up shots. We eventually got it, but I will never forget that episode. I could not hold the gun still and probably should not have even fired.
If you've never had buck fever, you don't understand how bad it is.
I've too had the unpleasant experience of having buck fever numerous times only to see a deer trot off, very frustrating. It took a good 5-6-7 years to shake off for me...now as soon as I spot a deer, close my eyes for a few seconds with a few deep breathes and onto the challenge
