Has anyone done a fly in or drive in Quebec moose hunt? How was it?

My buddy had bought a camp in Quebec and we hunted Moose there for three years,
They then changed the laws and Non resident now needed to go through a outfitter,
Buddy sold camp, haven't been back not sure if anything changed?
I will be interested in the replies you get as it looks like we won't be getting a tag in Ontario this year, I had a tag last year, we drive 20 hours, and I am turning 54 this year, I will be 67 by the time I receive another tag. Only saying this because it took 13 people to get a Bull tag last year, so I would expect it will take 13 points to get 1 this year. So I'm thinking may as well go to Quebec, more costly but less of a drive.

Sounds like you need an outfitter in Quebec. So why not book a hunt through an Ontario outfitter?
I’m open to suggestions for either.

Most territories in Quebec require 2 tags per animal. Non resident 520.46 ea . Average territory / accommodations around $1500 - $2000 for total group. I love hunting there but don't have a group anymore so if you need people let me know.
I'd be looking at NFLD. It's filthy with moose.
Saw a little piece on this on the telly about them being introduced in late 1890,s and 1902 basically as a food source for the islanders as they had taken so many caribou. They only started with three sets of animal's. Today there is one Moose for every 4 people. Annual harvest I believe around 29,000 most everybody gets their Moose.Quote:

Saskatchewan is even harder for locals to draw a tag then Ontario in the farm country where you see moose every day, but they are smart and don't allow non residents to hunt moose
