That was absolutely painful to watch. From some of the young people I've met that are friends of the neighbor's kids, though, right on the money.
I have met a few young kids like those. My buddy down the road his GF daughter is 20 and sounds just like the girl. She thought she could afford to buy a house like his on her salary at Burger King. His house is worth 1.5 million, another day she asked if he was going to leave the house to her when he dies LOL. He told her she could have it for 1.5 million.
Most kid's (and a few on here) are very naive and think the world resolves around them. My daughter was like that a bit but she has learn. She is learning to do her own home repairs and enlisting the help of friends to learn. My middle son still has a lot to learn. My youngest who hunts with me seems to have caught on much quicker then most.
Kid's can learn but they need a roll model, sadly our current Government is not a roll model.
What happened to “time for a breather, something other than politics”? Lol
Lol sorry, I just call it as I see it no point to beat around the bush might better get straight to the point. Just like pulling of a band-aid some are squeamish and go slow,I prefer just to tear it off and be done with it.
No kidding, I see it all the time with young cashiers, just as bad they blatantly admit that they're lousy in math and even worse is that employers actually still hire someone to handle financial transactions when their math skills are pathetic. So last week at our local country hardware store they had 25lb bags of sunflower seeds on sale. So I go in to grab a couple of them but there's only one left in stock. So the owner says he'll give me the sale price for 2 bags but I can take a 50lb bag that's not on sale. Cool. Well the girl at the cash couldn't multiply 14.99 times two to input a single price and with the boss right beside her said she was lousy in math. I just shook my head. What the hell do they teach kids in school anymore?
Ever watch them ,as a buyer, throw a pile of change on the counter and tell the clerk to take what she needs ..:)
I laugh when you buy something with tax comes to $10.99 and you pass the a $20 plus a loonie. The look is priceless
I have seen these, the stupid part is that this is not Millennials. Millennials are between 25 and 40 now, we have full time jobs, houses, kids, not either of the people in these clips.
These would be Gen Z
Gen Z. We've run out of alphabet with these kids. Now what???
Not in my case, that of my siblings, yes. I got my azz out of bed to head to the farm and get the chores done before school. I listened and learned. I could tow a hay wagon by age 10 and feed the conveyor at 12. I cut and split 3 households worth of firewood every year until I moved out, then it became 4. I have work ethic, im smart enough to look after myself and my family and to top it off, your post didn't make me cry or trigger me. Hahahah
I do get what you are saying and was pondering that point too. Here's the difference, look who got elected.... it's all going down now.

Is this every millennial? No.
Does this represent the richer, more self-involved sect of the millennial generation? Yes.
Do not hire these people until they understand what being an adult means.
I agree it doesn't represent everyone, but... I would not be surprised if it represented 50%+
You can trash the millenials and gen Z-ers all you like, but history will be least kind to the boomers and gen-X ers - the generations which elected governments which spent the western world into a hole from which it will never recover.
My daughters - one millenial and one gen Zer and their friends are not at all like that shown in your video. They are both engineers and for the most part, their friends are engineers or in STEM career paths. They are both social and fiscal conservatives. Millenial daughter and her husband just bought a house. Gen Z daughter is disappointed that even living at home, her electrical engineer salary does not allow her to save up a down payment as fast as house prices are rising. I keep having to remind her that back in the 1980's most singles could not afford there own home then either.
