They better pitter patter and get back at it because if it is not in stock people will pattern another brand and stick with it. Accutips have been like hens teeth for over a year - I have about 20 sabots left and when they are done and if no Accutips are in stock I will be moving to another brand.
same here we usually use acu, but last year couldn't find anything, i used hornadys and expanders last year , but with my shotgun anyways, it seemed like the hornady shot really weird, they pack quite a punch too. expanders shot great, but the meat loss was unbelievable.
lol he just had to say continue to fight for the second amendment didn't he
OK,they have the ammo end on a roll. That's great news, indeed. Now,let's see what happens with the firearm end. I can't wait to see what Sturm,Ruger does with the Marlin brand.
Come on Accu-tips.......can't live without them.
Accu tips will be $30+ a box this year you watch. I seen a $7 a box increase from Aug- Nov last year....good thing I have 30 boxes...

Federal Barnes Expander 20gauge are closest to Accutips I've seen. They are same weight and same speed. Few guys I know that have tested them say they fly similar to Accu tips. They are shooting Savage 220 and Benelli M2 rifled barrel

I hope they bring back the rifle Hyper Sonic Ultra Core Lokt. I used these for black bear and they knock them stone dead
As a cast bullet fan, one could hope they might drop Marlin's micro-grooving and go back to regular rifling. Cast conical bullets pass down that micro-grooving like they are being shot through a smooth bore.

Yes the accutips shot great, made a smiley face with each slug touching at 75yds. I think the others I tried were barnes expanders, hornady sst, and win partition gold and none of them gave me anything that looked like a grouping at all. Spent 2 days sighting in a scope. Had to quit the first day, I was getting worked up,had me thinking it was the gun or the scope. The accutips were the last ones I tried, should have tried them first. lol
The AccuTip is the preferred choice for my Savage 20 gauge. Expensive but gets the job done.
