Seems like the province is picking low hanging fruit in attempt to look like they are doing something. This will accomplish nothing and is just in time for the spring bear hunt - same as last spring.
I bet O% compliance around here May Long Weekend. lol
This will not stop anything. Shut down REAL non essential workplaces. But hey, we’re all essential. What a joke.
What would likely happen if they saw a vehicle left anywhere overnight is mobilizing entire police forces and the military plus numerous helicopters costing hundreds of thousands of dollar hoping in their glee they might catch someone to give them a fine that would get tossed out of court like all the rest of them.
People need to realize that the situation is only going to get worse.
The government is considering implementing curfews and travel restrictions between regions.
This was done last year in Quebec as an example.
This will directly affect our ability to travel and enjoy our outdoor activities which carry zero percent chance of getting covid.
The government is trampling on our civil right without justification.
The PLANDEMIC has been proven.
The WHO admits that the PCR testing is flawed and not being properly done.
There are plenty of organizations fighting these draconian measures.
Speak up and make your voice heard.
Don't accept their "NEW NORMAL"

You can expect curfew to be implemented shortly. I can see that coming.
They say it won't happen but Quebec is putting the squeeze on Ford.

We are still in April folks, who still thinks that it is a wild-### conspiracy theory that the military will be called out by late summer to "patrol our highways and keep us safe from ourselves" ?? Asking for a friend who says that they live in a free and democratic country of course.
John (might not be my real name of course lol)
Covert efforts said to seek to ‘undermine our democracy’
"Vigneault said that Canada has always faced foreign interference but that its scale, speed and impact have increased because of globalization and technology. Social media are used to spread disinformation or leverage efforts to divide public opinion, interfere in healthy public debate and create social tensions. He expressed concerns that foreign states target politicians, political parties and electoral processes in order to covertly influence Canadian public policy, public opinion “and ultimately undermine our democracy.” He added that efforts by foreign interests have accelerated during the pandemic and will continue as Canada emerges from it."

A google search shows the same news breaking on April 11th 2020. The ban was lifted literally 1 day before our spring bear hunt in early June. We'll see how it plays out this time, but I will continue to ignore it as I did then. ;)
I will be going camping as soon as I find the time and the weekend weather is nice, currently looking at April 30. I will be safer where I am going anyways.
If people are paying attention, the peak of the 1st wave was this time last year. The driest month of the year in this part of the province (in terms of relative humidity) is March, meaning respiratory illnesses are far easier to transmit, so it makes sense this will peak in April every year.
We're doing 10x as many tests as were were at this time last year and we don't understand why we "can't get control of this virus", yet all other seasonal illnesses are basically gone.
Picture a dog chasing its tail.

Brampton and Mississauga they are talking about curfew closing down essential work places, handing out more fines and possibly check points.

It can't get any more Stricker in my area than last year.
They blocked the boat ramps closed down the water area the pier in Beaverton is still blocked off over a year now . The parking lots on the river they blocked all the parking spots so you couldn't even get close to the river . Parking lots that are connected to the lake completely blocked off . It can't get worse than before.
If they block off the boat ramps again they better close down the golf courses too.

Ford didn't have the nuts to do what he should have done in January and February. He won't shut anything down. He'll plead with the FOLKS! We had our chance in February to get this under control with vaccine and thanks to Trudeau we didn't have any vaccine so here we are ....again! Lock down the hot zones if you want to make an impact.
Game changer. It is now show me your papers throughout Ontario.
"Police enforcement of the stay-at-home order will also be enhanced, according to Solicitor General Sylvia Jones. “Police will have the authority to require any individual who is not in a place of residence to” give an address and ask why they’re out,” she said, during the media briefing."
"Those violating the order could be fined up to $750, Jones added."

I’ll take the fine and help clog up the courts !!! Lol
I posted this on another thread, but,I'll post it here, too. Fishing and hunting were declared as permitted activities and,so far, that hasn't been rescinded. So,a cop pulls you over and asks "Why are you out?" to which we reply "I'm going hunting/fishing." "Oh,OK then. Have a good day." Game, set and match.
Good luck finding me come summer. Four hour paddle in with an nice one km portage. I will pay it if they do.

Same thing happened around the same time last year. I stayed home while some people went into the interior of Algonquin for trout. I followed the rules and ate fish sticks in my backyard while some people had an awesome peaceful and successful fishing trip. Shame on me for following the rules.
This is a breach of our charter rights. Furthermore it is based on pseudo-scientific manipulations and distortions from select "experts". If we want to keep Canada as the country we know and love, now is the time to peacefully and civilly disobey and fight any tickets we receive doing it. So sad it's come to this.
They just announced the closure of our outdoor shooting range last night.
I went "fooding" on Saturday...it was a great morning on the water.....
The sky is falling...lol
