Forgone conclusion. Should be an appeal in the offing !!!
It can be appealed until he's blue in the face,it aint going to make any difference.IMHO
Exactly, now they just pushed all the rioting and looting a few years down the road if he lives that long.
That’s a slippery slope when outside pressures influence a court of law! Good luck America.
If I were cop in America right now, I’d trade my badge in for a “Used” pop-up tent trailer in S Florida

Manslaughter was the right charge here, he was guilty in my opinion. The other two charges were to prevent more protests, rioting and looting. Sad day for U.S.A.
Ruled by the evidence or the mob?
A deadly hit of fentanyl? He couldn't breathe he says before he was even out of the car.

I think he's guilty and the outcome was proper.
But the judge's comments, as well as those by Biden and Harris? Even if the trial result was "correct", it was definitely not a "fair" trial.
So America has reached the point where it doesn't care about a fair trial if the accused is guilty.
Reminds me of an old joke.
The sherrif says "There's be no lynching in my town. You give him a fair trial first. Then you can hang him."
How true.
Tucker's take on it.

sadly its been like this for a very long time. there are countless people wrongfully imprisoned because of that very reason.
Time: The Kalief Browder Story Netflix
just 1 example.
16 year old kid walking home from a party gets grabbed by the cops for allegedly stealing someone's backpack.
got thrown into rikers island in solitary for years for absolutely nothing.
Former Police officers are never put in GP for obvious reasons it would be a life sentence. If it happened the "system" would pay for the death via a civil law suit. Much cheaper and wiser to have him in protective custody. Same reason as folks like BERNARDO are still alive.
A white dude.
Billy Bailey (January 1947 – January 25, 1996) was a convicted murderer who was hanged in Delaware in 1996. He became the third person to be hanged in the United States since 1965 (the previous two were Charles Rodman Campbell and Westley Allan Dodd, both in Washington) and the first person hanged in Delaware in 50 years.
As of 2021, he remains the last person to be executed by hanging in the United States.

That is not a lynching (which is what was being referred to by Gilly). That was a death sentence handed out by the justice system after a fair trial that was than executed by hanging. Lynching does not involve a fair trial it is mob justice without a trial based on gossip and hearsay.
It is amazing how we always have to clarify our statements with the Lieberals
"A common perception of lynchings in the U.S. were hangings, due to their public visibility, which made it easier for photographers to photograph the victim. "
"Lynchings were in part intended as a voter suppression tool. A 2019 study found that lynchings occurred more frequently in proximity to elections, in particular in areas where the Democratic Party faced challenge"

Gilroy you are so poorly informed it's ridicules.
Gadhafi ended slavery when he came to power and when he was murdered by the Clinton regime, human trafficking started back up literally within weeks of his death. Canadaman is right on the button, you should educate yourself a little better.
If you're wondering why some of us are questioning the fairness of this "kangaroo Court', this video walks you thru the 'why'...

What I could understand from this mans show is that he is extremely upset that the justice system got it wrong. Of course it is his opinion, and he will find any evidence to support his argument. I do see some narrative twisting to make it work, but that’s my opinion.
I looked up the definition of 2nd and 3rd degree murder in Minnesota. Here are the links:

From what I’ve read I think that the jury got it right. I am curious to why there is such a defence on here from some for this conviction. The jury was tasked with a job, which they performed. Just because you are unhappy with the verdict does not in anyway mean the jurors are wrong. The situation is polarized and many have an opinion, but to question this as a kangaroo court would imply the jurors got it wrong and the system is corrupt. If this is the case then what about all the other cases and verdicts that went the other way? Are they too corrupt and wrong? Perhaps the system is muddy and in need of clarity? Maybe there are too many bad apple officers that need to be laid off? There does appear to be an undeniable pattern doesn’t there?
I agree any lynching is tragic, I am saying the last one occurred in the USA in 1981 as there was documentary on it on the weekend, the mother of the victim sued the Klan for 10 million and got 7 million.
If there has been more documented lynching's in the USA since 1981 I would like to have a link to them. Thanks.
Well, if I have time, I guess I can do the same thing you can do and research it ... not sure I need to spoon feed you Gil. Why don't you go and have a look ... and yeah it seems that EVERYTHING is being blamed on suicide by the opposite forces ... that is pretty sad to me.
This case I believe proves that the threat is there ...
