Heard about that on the radio today. Get brand A first and get brand B for the second shot.
Think it's a good idea or safe? Not sure if I'd want to mix them for the sake of getting people vaccinated faster for the 2nd shot.

I think it is a big guessing game anyway.... I think the vaccine shots work but just not sure how much protection they give us. Mixing them up might be better, who really knows, time will tell.
Their rhetoric changes by the week, same as all this covid bs has been for the last year. I don't trust anything they say.
Liberals in general believe they know more then anyone, especially Trudeau IMHO I would not be surprised if Trudeau suggested this.Sorry but Trudeau barely made it out of High School, he might be able to fool some people who in my opinion have the IQ of an amoebae. I will follow the instructions of the developer and not the Liberals, I would say in all honesty 99% of Liberals including those on here do not understand Science.
Damn i opened this thread thinking it was some secret way to mix vodka and whiskey and have it taste good.
Heard on the radio this morning that the UK is testing Pfizer and AstraZeneca as a combination possibility
Being tested on human guinea pigs?
It breaks all manufacturers protocols and you assume all risks.
No thanks, I will trust my natural immunity for the time being.
It has yet to fail me and there are other options such as therapeutic drugs available if I do get very sick.
Yep also holding back the second shot can't be a good thing.
Your immunity might be almost gone by the time they get the second shot. 2 shots 28 days apart to be fully protected for 6 months possibly . The first shot gives a little protection but not fully protected until that second shot but leaving it for months could certainly reduce it's effectiveness.
The people taking these shots are just test subjects and hoping it still works.

Just to make things super scientific, lets vaccinate the control group

Lives are at risk because the Liberals refuse to follow the science
In recent days, numerous health experts have spoken out about the risks of delaying doses.

Have you received one dose of AstraZeneca and now have questions about your second? Watch this.

The different types of vaccines have different approach the first shot of the Pfizer takes you part way down one approach. If you then get the AstraZeneca it takes you part way down it's initial approach. Both leaving the job of each vaccine in a half- position, which may very well compromise their effectiveness and not ensuring you have adequate protection. A little like jumping from one canoe to the other while shooting a set of rapids. I wonder how you are liable to make out? Most likely more than all wet. Possibly drowned.

Politics playing doctors
They should be given out as prescribed by the pharmaceutical company. They Listen and follow the science and data. They keep saying but they are not following it themselves.
Didn't ford say doctors shouldn't be playing politics ? Same should apply

More at risk if you haven't had covid yet after the first shot. As real time study's are being played out it's advised not to delay the second shot.
I've been saying for over a week they would save more lives if they fucus on who needs it and give them a second dose.

I've had Pfizer already. If pressed I might take Moderna as my second shot because it too is an mRNA-based vaccine. I would not take J&J or AZ because they are based on different technology.
