Michigan wants to cut our line as well. Deferred until May 18 pending a court hearing.
Add to this a growing conflict in the middle east and it is best to stock up on supplies.
Hey joe your old enough to remember Carter.
Yes I remember when it was real tough getting gas to go to work - one thing Trump did was make us independent of foreign oil but I think things are going to be different under Biden - without gas or electricity the place closes down - Carter was a nice guy but things went south when he was president - well we got Covid 19 - now gas shortages - what next -
Now we’re heading for a real lockdown, nobody will be able to afford gas...we’re already just under $1.40 litre.
Carter is a heroic man. Lives life like it was meant to be. More give than take. Not a great President, but that is not how he should be remembered . The things he has done after his presidency are amazing . He is a great human being. No I don’t know him personally but have read a couple of bibliographies on his life. Two thumbs up for that guy.
If these hackers can shut down a pipe line what prevents them from shutting down the electric grid - that would be very interesting - if they knew what they were doing they could darken the whole country
I recall a story from a few years ago that reported Russian hackers had already hacked into some sensitive portions of the electrical grid. I imagine they knew that there would be consequences if they played around too much- but the capability to cause great chaos was there. Maybe still is.

Poor guy doesn’t even know who is is
This might be a good time to soon pick up some stocks very cheap.
Actually attempts to hack large organizations happens around the clock it just takes a mistake on the other side. You can use tools like sniffers to look for vulnerable ports allowing a way in to a system, obviously the more robust a system is the more difficult it is to find a way in.
Also trojans can be downloaded to a users PC if the user mistakenly goes to a website which can be very easy to trick some people, I have seen really good fake emails for Scotia bank and CIBC fishing for information, The last one I received I showed Scotiabank what was going on and it was the first they had seen an email followed up by the Scammer calling my number.
Every system out there can be broken into if your side makes a mistake..
I have theorized of some virus you could build that could do unbelievable things I'm just surprised nobody has done it yet.
Yeah you could pretty much call it the Cyber Mafia. Then there are the smaller groups and the independents.
No amount of firewalls can ever defend 100% all it takes is a human mistake or a bug in the programming to allow someone in or be completely disconnected from the internet. But considering office PC always have access to something or maybe there are code stored someplace. When I was managing data for a radar system (Yes I am allowed to say that) all the data was generated to a Database that had no connection to the internet to check the data I had to physically to the computer and login that was unhackable.
I was going to learn how to use a few of the tools, I wanted to screw around with some Hackers for fun like you see on Youtube, I downloaded the some tools spent one night but got bored.
You set up a virtual system running on your computer and you allow them into the virtual system and with the right tools you can get into their system as they leave themselves open expecting you to be stupid.
Yeah I get bored easily
They paid the hackers 5 million after the attack wow.
