Curious if anyone knows a answer to this question?
Some asked me if you didn't apply to the primary draw, can you still apply to the secondary draw and gain 1 point if not successful.
And yes I applied for the first draw just have some people that didnt and are curious if they could apply now and get a point.

Yes, they can apply. They just have to pay the initial application fee. If you applied in the first draw and paid the fee, you can apply for the second draw at no cost....Quote:

I’m very curious to see what’s available. The smart groups will turn back extra bull tags in the road-accessible units in order to get a tag next year.
Has anyone been able to find a link to available tags ?

according to that link looks like May 16 is the first day can apply to round 2, book may have been off a day

Me to. Figured everyone would be swarming on calf tags this second go round but some areas have more adult tags than I expected. Just goes to show how many guys are out there with big point totals when you see the number of adult tags turned back in.Quote:

Yeah I was thinking that groups with multiple tags are turning back in tags. Hope the guy in 49 that had 24 points gets a tag this time. For our camp of 10 guys, 1 tag is good enough. This way will give you possibly more cosecutive years to draw in hard units.Quote:

Ok, question, I think I know the answer, but it isn't the way I thought it was going to go, if I apply for a moose tag in the 2nd draw and receive a tag, do my points go to 0, I thought that that was only in the the 1st draw but it is not what I'm reading.
Your first choice success takes your points. If you are successful with your second or third choice, no points taken…Quote:

They could also run a modified group application draw where hunters can identify their group members along with their ultimate tag preferences e.g. 1bull tag and one cow/calf tag. From what I’m reading in this part of the regs.
If you draw a tag in first choice of the second allocation your points reset to zero that part I understand.
If you don’t claim the tag do you still loose your points ?
