FLY-IN Moose Hunt Vaccination Required

Hi all ,
Every year , we’ve been doing the Fly-in Moose Hunt out of Wawa …. WMU 22
I just received an email , September 4th from the Outfitter , stating ….. everyone in our party must be fully vaccinated
and provide their proof of vaccination along with ID to hunt this year ….I just learned only four of five in our group are fully vaccinated …..is this mandated by law ? When did this protocol become legal ?
I would like to hear some feedback regarding , whether this is legal or illegal …… any exceptions , that you can use…. Being tested before you fly-in !!!!
BTW…. Last year . we only needed to wear masks while flying in the Otter…..
We are going for the October 16th Opener …

We are flying in sept 27th. We have heard no such thing from our outfitter. We went last year as well. We wore mask at the base while doing paperwork but that was it. Mo mask on floatplane.

As of September 22nd you will be required to show proof of vaccination. I had to print it off so my mother can continue to go to the slots. But enforcement will be up to individual businesses and there are some exemptions such as churches and grocery stores among others I believe. As to it being legal I'm not sure, but their business, their rules.

100% illegal. A contract was signed with the outfitter and there was never any mention of vaccination requirements.
The outfitter is now changing the terms and conditions of the contract.
He can be sued for damages.

If they are a decent buisness they should provide a full or partial refund if this is an issue for the party however they are within their legal rights to make this a requirement. Seems like the easiest solution would be to just get vaccinated, or find a 5th member who is vaccinated if the timeline won't work.

Are you not seeing the amount of Doctor's, scientists, virologists etc....that are stating things are changing, and your immune system is going to be completely obsolete in the next couple of years.?.?...worst thing you can do right now is follow what the paid mainstream is telling you to do....two of the top Advisors just quit the FDA as they were starting to tell the truth about what is happening with these shots.....all these crazy people and they're "conspiracies".....aren't looking so crazy these days, when everything is coming to light and happening day after day....

I consider myself a conspiracy theorist ... been following all since yonge ages. UFOs to everything else...
but I fail to see the conspiracy here ... what do they think the vaccines will do ? and why do the Elite need the vaccine to move agenda ahead ? couldnt they just infect drinking water ?

whats the point of killing us all ? who will serve them as slaves and work 40 hours a week ?

Specially since you see the vaccines available in first world countries more ... do theywant to kill off ppl in north america, and keep only Bangladesh, iran and afghanistan ?

I dabble I guess over the years...but UFO's I've always go e down a few rabbit holes on, as I saw something pretty wild at 13 yrs old.....I'm not too sure what the agenda is beside control....and not sure how all of this ends.....I have a really hard time though, when there's so many documented times, that they've known this was coming, and discussed it.....5....10 years ago....I certainly don't know all the specifics, but I definitely can smell the fake news and actual news pretty good.

You're not far off. Here's what you need to do after you hand craft a tinfoil hat don't worry it's about protecting everyone around you not just yourself.

Research the ingredients in the mrna vaccines.
Research those ingredients mainly graphene oxide.
Research what some cities will be treating their water supply with in the near future and why.
Research Selenium.
Research Blackrock and Van Guard

Sorry to hear that the hunt might not go as planned.
It's only going to get harder on the ones that don't get the shot. It's everyone's choice if they get it but those who choose not to might not be able to do somethings.
No need to complain about it. It's your choice. Fyi this isn't going away.

I think it is legal. They are operating a business and can set the rules. I don’t think there is any way you can sue either given the way the wind is blowing. Did you ask for a refund?

Unfortunately ,I think you just made the best point for COVID pandemic-vaccine shot-passport debate .

You may want to talk with line052, he's pretty clued in with the actual laws unlike some here who just throw things out there. For the most part it is a human rights violation for a business to discriminate based on medical condition.

I agree that it's legal on two possible grounds. The first is the trip occurs after September 22 and without knowing the layout of the place may fall under the Ontario government mandatory vaccine requirements.

The outfitter did not break his contract. The new conditions are required by government regulation and the fact the contract was signed before the law changes is not grounds to break the law.

The second reason is the fly-in portion. Proof of immunization is required on commercial flights and it's unlikely an operator would want to risk his license arguing that didn't include charter flights.

The charter flight issue is one sports teams are currently wrestling with.

Before I allowed the vax issue to screw up a great hunt,I'd be getting the second shot.

Get the shot the outfitter is only protecting himself and his staff .

I agree with Sam, tired of reading here daily about all the anti vaxxers on this site. I know other fly in companies out of Nakina that also require double shots before jumping onto one of their planes.

With regards to the op’s original question, +1 for badenoch’s response. proof of vaccination has been required to board a commercial flight or train in Canada since august 13. Seems pretty black and white.

Find a drive in lodge that will accommodate you or inform him that he needs to make up his mind.

I flew Air Canada to Thunder Bay and back after Aug 13 and I did not get asked nor did I see anyone getting asked for proof of vaccination.

I don't even recall them shooting me in the forehead for my temp on either flight.

I plan on still going … just had to let two of the six guys know , the new rules , that they can’t fly-in this year …..The outfitter has been really good with us and the Moose are still in good numbers , just the MNR has pushed the season really back ,,, basically putting us passed the Rut !!

Don’t worry about the rut ! Call them, they will still come. Maybe not as aggressively as during the peak, but they will still come to call. I called in a big bull last year with no problems…the smaller bulls will slink around, so keep an eye open for them. They tend to come in silently…..

At the same time, if it wasn't a part of the original contract - then they can't change the terms of the contract after the agreement is made.
Furthermore - in the same vein, ALL businesses should have the same freedom.
If a restaurant wants to have both vaxxed and unvaxxed patrons - they should be allowed. It's their business.

The outfitter isn't changing the contract but adhering to new requirements placed on his business by government since the contract was let.

Restaurants have long been subject to various public health rules. The requirement that patrons be vaccinated is just another one.

If the gubment isn't enforcing any of the requirements, whose to say the business owners will. It's their business, they'll run it their way.

Is the outfitter flying your group with their own plane? It may well be another company providing the flight? Their plane, their rules.

Are aligning with the Ontario government’s vaccine requirements… i can live with that !!
