"ammo and components will remain in high demand for at least another year" That's right! That's why ammo demands are so high & we should stock more & more.
Cabelas has lots. Basspro has been dry for a while. Also little gun shops have lots of ammo around just goot look.

The popular ammo has sold out up here, guys are scratching.
We all know the true solution is to just roll your own.
Checks powders, primers, bullet heads and brass stock...and States: " I have no idea what you are talking about"...no shortage here.
Friend was saying he can’t find any blackthorn 209 right now
Sounds like primers are bring gobbled up too
Little gun shops do not have "lots", I walked in to 3 shops, all smallish, with a list, it was a No to everything but the Blazer 22LR, including No 11 caps, musket caps, 20ga slugger slugs, anything monolithic, anything non-standard, the shelves out here in Eastern Ontario are bare.
"Spotty" might be the correct word as in some spots have them and others do not. I've found everything that I was looking but not at the first stop and in one case quantities were limited. Fortunately I keep a good supply of the rounds I regularly shoot.
FWIW, keep an eye on the auction sites. Most of them have a variety of ammo on offer. Not always the cheapest option but it is available.
I've been stocking reloading components since Obama's first term. Learned my lesson back then.
