Ya right, give it up. Yup he's going to take on the oil companies....that's a laugh right there...
I will pay attention to anyone who is willing to pick a fight with the Globalists and their agenda.
People worldwide are standing behind Trump in support. He is not simply making a statement without the full support of the population.
This is not a Ford "Buck a beer" statement.
Filled up at the highest I ever have tonight. $1.45 a litre. 140$ to fill my truck that lasts 2 days just travelling to work.
I wouldnt doubt it hits 2$ a litre by next year. Ridiculous, The price of everything is going to skyrocket.

Maybe Trump can get his buddy that runs Saudi Arabia to turn up the taps, but he is probably to busy murdering American citizens who worked for the Washington Times and chopping their bodies up inside his embassy buildings, or as reported in 60 minutes sending hit squads to Canada to murder his previous head of intelligence.
O'foole didn't get my vote Gilroy. I don't support flip flopping globalist wannabes.
Everything was better with Trump

HERE IS THE MAN HIMSELF DANCING WITH THE TERRORIST NATION WHO'S CITIZENS BLEW UP THE TWIN TOWERS LOL
Your boys in Glasgow will be making their own barrel wash and eating mudcat. Won't be money left after bringing in millions of illegals and criminals across the southern border. Not to mention replacing the 65 billion dollar military Biden donated to Trudeaus Taliban brother in Afghanistan.
He is staring you down, Gilroy....lol

Not to pick I fight Bo but here in Canada I blame justlied and his merry band of enviro nazis. As we all know at some point in time the goods we purchase as consumers is delivered by truck to get the goods from point a to b and if it costs more for the shipper to fill his or her truck with petroleum obviously they are going to pass the extra cost on to us. So yes I blame our baboon of a prime minister and his ineffective carbon tax.
94 bucks to fill up the a car yesterday lol.
I'm going up north next month and should be about 80 to 100 bucks extra from last year. Usually 4 fill ups over the 5 days lol.
The banks are saying this is going to continue with everything will continue to rise. They also think everyone has a little cushion from the pandemic relief benefits.
Paid 10 bucks more for Ruby Tai last week for a meal for 2. Didn't even look at the price change until it came to 41 bucks from the regular 32 . An older couple left after standing in line they noticed the price change and walked away.
I think with a struggling society things are going to get messy next year.

Just wait ... Libs really think taking money away from people and forcing them to not travel is a good idea... if that doesn't work think they will go with travel permits, they are already pushing Vaccine Passports... seems like the Libs have no issues with oppression and personal choice, ethics and privacy are issues. Must do Liberal right think or you are the enemy.

Carbon tax fuel costs for Canada’s top five vehicles in 2021 and 2030
The top five vehicles sold in Canada in 2019 were the Ford F-Series, Dodge Ram, Toyota RAV4, Honda Civic, and Honda CR-V.
Below are the estimated annual gasoline fuel costs for these vehicles in 2021. The carbon tax portion is between $161 and $257, or about 7 per cent of the fill-up costs:
Ford F-150: $3,931 in annual fuel costs, with the federal carbon tax comprising $257 of that cost.
Dodge Ram 1500: $3,931 in annual fuel costs, with the federal carbon tax comprising $257 of that cost.
Toyota RAV4: $2,654 in annual fuel costs, with the federal carbon tax comprising $174 of that cost.
Honda Civic: $2,453 in annual fuel costs, with the federal carbon tax comprising $161 of that cost.
Honda CR-V: $2,587 in annual fuel costs, with the federal carbon tax comprising $169 of that cost.
Below are the estimated annual fuel costs for these vehicles in 2030. The carbon tax portion is between $723 and $1,158, or about 24 per cent of the fill-up costs, assuming that the remaining components of the gasoline cost structure stay the same:
Ford 150: $4,832 in annual fuel costs, with the federal carbon tax comprising $1,158 of that cost, an increase of $901, or 350 per cent, from 2021.
Dodge Ram 1500: $4,832 in annual fuel costs, with the federal carbon tax comprising $1,158 of that cost, an increase of $901, or 350 per cent, from 2021.
Toyota RAV4: $3,263 in annual fuel costs, with the federal carbon tax comprising $782 of that cost, an increase of $608, or 350 per cent, from 2021.
Honda Civic: $3,015 in annual fuel costs, with the federal carbon tax comprising $723 of that cost, an increase of $562, or 350 per cent, from 2021.
Honda CR-V: $3,180 in annual fuel costs, with the federal carbon tax comprising $762 of that cost, an increase of $593, or 350 per cent, from 2021.

That should do wonders for transportation costs, tourism and even heating your home.
I just got back from NW Ont. Lady at the Great Bear, east of Fort Francis said gas will be $2 bucks before Christmas !!!!
I understand all that but stop and think about it. A box store gets a truck load of different items to fill the shelves. Let's say they get a skid of dog food say 48 bags on the skid. Each bag has gone up in price $ 6.95 a bag that's $ 333.60 just on that one skid. Now you tell me that's not price gouging. And that's not counting what else on that shipment of goods has gone up as welll. They're laughing all the way to the bank cause everyone blames it on the price of fuel....But wait, Trump will fix it, just like he fixed everything else...and these schmucks are sending him money to pay for his next campaign...
What great has Biden done since taking office. Please enlighten us all with his glory
Attachment 42472
I'm sure some of it is outright gouging and greed but there is a real cost increase to producing anything right now. Everything is taking longer. Machines are breaking down in production facilities with no real timeline on replacement parts. People aren't showing up for work so the work isn't getting done on schedule. I'm seeing all this happening firsthand where I work (food production). I've been there 23 years and never seen anything like it. We've had to shut down production a few times recently for lack of staff. I've seen some places like Tim's and McDonald's closed for a day here and there lately due to "staff shortages". In the end, the companies and shareholders don't absorb these costs, it gets passed on to us. Add the price of fuel on top of that and we're heading for some tough times.

Unfettered corporate greed at its best, but this is how capitalism is meant to work. Private enterprise all for the profit.
Today Biden either gets economic deal In the house or he crashes and burns Carter years weren’t so bad lol
I think some of you guys don't know what your talking about - your being pushed by your political views - under Trump the U.S.. was energy independent because he allowed drilling in places where it had been stopped - now there are all kind of restrictions on drilling and naturally less oil means higher prices - Trump was controlling our southern border where now it is a free passage to the U.S. - Trump cut taxes which brought companies back to the states with the resulting more jobs - I could go on and on - Trump was the best thing that happened to America since Ronald Regan - the stupid people didn't know when they had a good thing and put a baboon in the White House along with a punch of nitwits who don't have a clue how to run a country - the result is everything is falling apart - the stimulus package allowed people to quit work and now there is a shortage of goods - why work when you can get a along fine without it - I always said that what is needed is real hard times so people get back to basics and have their feet on the ground again - for too long people have been spoiled with the good life and spent their energy on stupid things like transgender issues, woke and racial issues - tearing down statues of people who had a hand in forming the country - this carbon tax is a joke and will ruin the whole economy of a country - unfortunately good people who voted for Trump will also have to bear the ills of what is going on but I think these people are the heart and soul of this country and have the fortitude to weather the hard times coming - let the hard times roll -
It is my understanding that the high US gas prices are the result of the Saudi/Russia price war, and the collapse of the US shale oil industry.
Now the demand is back, but the shale producers are still closed.
The US was actually oil-independent for a few years.
Great post JoePa. We're living the same leftist woke crap here as well.

OMG the best thing since the Gripper, Ronald Regan was the biggest DRUG TRAFFICKER bar none for his era, using the CIA to wage war against the Communists and using drug cartel money to do it. Do you not remember Ollie North, the Contras, deals with terrorist Iran. I think you really need to read some American history, I take it you can read.?
Trump is a liar and a fraud artist and his supporters are the same by default. LOCK HIM UP,LOCK HIM UP.
That is exactly what Trump was doing to Canada, knocking the crap out of us during trade agreements and trying to screw us over. Just as well we had an able female deputy Prime Minister to sort him out.
Presently he is trying to supress voting in the USA to steal their democratic country, not going to happen, Trump and Republicans are toast come next election.
You can use the first one and put Trudeau in there, his accomplices have accepted ethics violations, lies, coverups, payments to terrorist but insults to vets and indigenous people, incompetence, increasing taxes, increasing censorship and they prance around like banty roosters... you know I thought Gulag Archipelago was written as a historical account and warning but the left seems to be trying to use it as a guide book.
As the carbon taxes go up there will be more and more money taken from Canadian pockets and depriving the poorest any kind of real opportunity, but #LibsDontCare , Trudeau has the govt paying for vacations and nannies and his "family fortune" (his words). They managed to make one pipeline project government owned and killed Energy East and Biden has done damage to energy independence too but it makes the Saudis etc. happy. In the last 5 years I checked and Saudi Arabia have sold us $12.3 billion in oil.
Yes - the price war is over...but the US shale industry has not recovered. Unlike Canada, the US industry was heavily leveraged, and when prices collapsed there were a lot of failures.
While I invest quite a bit in both the Canada and US energy industries, I'm still a bit taken aback of the shale industry failure.
I thought counting on Americans to protect energy security was a pretty good bet. After all, isn't this the same country that used to invade other countries over oil???
And now they won't even protect the industry within their own borders. That's a bit tough to comprehend, yet here we are.
Results speak volumes

We don't need to put up Trumps score card, the American public marked him, morally and financially bankrupt, lock him up.
But you support Trudeau.... I guess Justlied and his supporters are glad that they can block RCMP investigations etc. .... somehow loosing the popular vote and still in power too.... sad!
ref: all the lies, fraud, corruption, ethics violations, coverups, conflict of interest are in here

Carbon taxes ... increasing our cost of living since 2019, with NO positive impact on the environment.
Perfect ... another Turdeau failure.

Robbing from the middle and poor to fund other countries and still spending faster and more than drunken sailors ever could ... usually on items anyone with common sense would say they are insane. Those like Justlied with family fortunes (his words) won't notice a couple thousand out of pocket but those on disability, old age, unemployment etc. are just unimportant to the Libs..
The evidence says they don't even really care about the environment.
https://nationalpost.com/opinion/lib...r-for-humanity
well maybe they do care if it hurts Alberta and the west, I will give them that based on the new Cabinet appointees.

You only addressed the first half of my sentence ... and actually, I don't have a problem with the first half of the sentence.
It's the second half that you conveniently missed (likely strategically missed, because you know your ding dong of a prime minister has failed here).
IT HAS DONE NOTHING TO FIGHT CLIMATE CHANGE!
At least the PCs had a plan to use the money to actually fight climate change and pollution!! That's the WHOLE point!
When? I've been hearing this for 2 years ... always an excuse for a delay.
Don't get me wrong, I am encouraged by the video, it certainly strikes a chord with me ... because we all
know that there's widespread, cold, calculated manipulation of EVERYTHING.
Just that I've been reading for two years now, your posts saying that the change is coming in months, even
JT was supposed to be in jail by now ... but nothing has changed ... it just keeps getting worse.
There is way too much tax on gas to warrant bringing the price down, especially when governments are looking for additional revenue streams to pay for COVID plus they need to make EV's look more attractive. My truck is now $130 to fill and if I am going far, and do not need the space, I take my diesel Passat (gets 1,200kms for $70). From what I see these prices will be here to say for a bit.
I was in Quebec last week for business and was driving a Ford Expedition MAX and I stopped for gas with just under 1/4 tank and the bill was $187.00!!
Just think gas is supposed to go up about 7 cent's a liter every spring from the carbon tax alone .

Yeh John pretty much the same here $145.00 to fill up the old Safari wagon, if I can get away with using my Echo most of the year I am OK.
Its not an option I know for guys working with tools and equipment so the price will always to paid along to the consumer.
There are a whole bunch of folks who could probably NOT be driving big pick up trucks so people will have to adjust, the days of roaring around in vehicles we don,t all need to be driving are over.
Actually Trudeau will most likely get elected again. As long as the PPC takes away votes from the Conservatives.
Can't even count on the NDP to take votes away from the Liberals as Trudeau is pretty much an NDP.
It will all come down to those contemplating voting for the PPC knowing they will take away votes from the Conservatives and no matter how you want to split it, the majority of Conservatives will not vote for PPC nor will the swing votes that the Conservatives count on.
But we do know that the PPC cost the Conservatives the election at minimum we would have had a minority and quite possibly a majority
Yeah my riding went to the conservative party too. I knew it would they could of lost almost 20 per cent of his voter base and still would of taken it lol. Highly favored around here lol.
Too bad Pierre wouldn't run I'm sure he would take a majority .

You know it brother........I just wish it was like mid pandemic where a tank would last me a month. Lots of my buddies in the trade now added a truck fee of $100 for each service call. The cost of having a HD Supply on wheels. Still cheaper than paying him to run to the distributor to get material to complete your job!
I would say it was a bit early, assuming Justlied actually told the truth for once, within 24 months there will be another $600M+ spent to try for another majority IF people DON'T start to figure out what a louse he actually is. They will use his socks and some event like the Glasgow and as much spending and as much fear mongering to try and gain popularity in the next 18 to 24 months. I would say Pierre and Lewis etc should toss O'toole late next summer or early fall of 2022, then use the 6 to 12 months to show only an ideologue or the corrupt would vote Lib and that the PPC is just vote splitting, heck I wouldn't be shocked if some day we find out the Liberal party supporters funded the PPC.
O'toole tried to be like the Liberals and as more people see that the Liberals are money wasting parasites that lie and are incompetent it will be harder for Justlied to call an election when we already saw they didn't even win the popular vote again. So it is likely the LIEbrals won't see the chance to grab power and baring a confidence vote may drag it out for 4 years of doing the NDP biding for the most part. 2 years or 6 to 10 months, either works to Pierre's advantage. but with the lies and media covering up for the Libs being in charge now would be a disadvantage. Banning semi's and pumps, more scandals, more huge deficits and more tax increase and the increased censorship will hurt the LIEbs (not with their die hard supporters though) but in their use of the lies, fear and hate mongering, the money throwing and the media's preferential treatment the Conservatives need to find a way to show ethics, morals, budgets and respect and even just being competent are important... a challenge for sure to get people to see, some never will! You can still find supporters of Stalin, Mao and even Hitler in the world.... some just lack that important something.
I guess the days of going for a Sunday drive are pretty much over. I remember as a kid, loading up the family car on a Sunday, and touring around the local area just to see the sights and what was going on, and usually ending up at a drive in restaurant for a treat or sometimes a meal. By todays' standards, that was just plain wrong. What were my parents thinking?:scream:
A populace that can travel, meet and feel empathy for others, learn .... not what the Libs want. Decades ago when I moved to Toronto to work and realized the "huge protests" on CBC were usually less than 50 people and almost as many press as protesters usually the idea of look, think and learn came about. Lies are easy to be believed when there is censorship, people can't "go see" and only one side is available and thinking/questions not allowed.
