From what I have read there shouldn't even be a trial - without question he acted in self defense - it is only because there is a real liberal prosecutor involved that this is happening - I hope nobody think that the justice system here in the states is fair - the system is a joke
The judge tore a strip off of the prosecutor today.
Poor kid going through hell. Hopefully things go his way.
Prosecution and the entire trial is an absolute joke.
Hot off the wires....
Quote:
Kyle Rittenhouse acquitted on all charges
Fri., November 19, 2021,
A Wisconsin jury has acquitted Kyle Rittenhouse on all charges in his homicide trial.
The 18-year-old fell over after hearing the verdict. The jury deliberated roughly 26 hours.
Rittenhouse pleaded not guilty to two felony counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, first-degree reckless homicide and first-degree intentional homicide and attempted first-degree intentional homicide, claiming he shot three men, two fatally, in self-defense during a 2020 protest. A charge of violating a curfew that was imposed during the protests in Kenosha was dropped during the trial.
When do the riots begin !!!
Let the lawsuits begin

She seems to have it about right....

Let's see... CBC looking to racialize it and in general the usual anti-self defence as expected.
https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/us-ver...ouse-1.6253598
The verdict in the politically volatile case was met with anger and disappointment from those who saw Rittenhouse as a vigilante and a wannabe cop, and relief and vindication from those who regarded him as a patriot who wanted to stop lawlessness and exercised his Second Amendment right to carry a gun and to defend himself.
Rev. Jesse Jackson, the longtime civil rights leader, said the verdict throws into doubt the safety of people who protest in support of Black Americans.
"It seems to me that it's open season on human rights demonstrators," he said.
Rittenhouse was charged with homicide, attempted homicide and recklessly endangering safety for killing two men — Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber — and wounding a third, Gaige Grosskreutz — with an AR-style semi-automatic rifle in the summer of 2020 during a tumultuous night of protests over the shooting of a Black man, Jacob Blake, by a white Kenosha police officer.
Rittenhouse, then 17 years old and a former police youth cadet, said he went to Kenosha to protect property from rioters. He is white, as were those he shot.
The jury, whose racial makeup was not disclosed by the court but appeared to be overwhelmingly white, deliberated for close to three and a half days.
Calls for calm
U.S. President Joe Biden called for calm, saying that while the outcome of the case "will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included, we must acknowledge that the jury has spoken."
Seems it IS political, the ones shot do seem to have long criminal records, I wonder if that came up much in the media or trial, I saw one mention of it and found this article but seems more like the criminals are the heroes of some.
https://www.wisconsinrightnow.com/20...osha-shooting/
The bottom line: Rosenbaum was a registered sex offender who was out on bond for a domestic abuse battery accusation and was caught on video acting aggressively earlier that night. Huber was a felon convicted in a strangulation case who was recently accused of domestic abuse. Grosskreutz was convicted of a crime for use of a firearm while intoxicated and was armed with a handgun when shot. You can read their criminal records in full later in this article.
...
Grosskreutz was moving toward Rittenhouse when shot and holding a handgun, the complaint says.
So an intoxicated criminal had a handgun (illegally according to the article) is shot, a jury says self defence and Biden has an issue with it ... wonder if our ideologue in charge will say anything.
It's pretty hard to "racialize" this case when the perps were all white. The DA was a moron. For sure,he'll never get re-elected,especially,after pointing the rifle at jurors to make a point. The Judge was a stand-up guy seeing through the prosecutions usual dirty tricks. Really, this is the only way this case could turn out.
There are many many examples of justice f***** by political decisions! Just look at Canada and SNC and Jody W.R., she was insulted, lied about, fired and even today you see Lib supporters attacking her for being unfaithful to the party (she wasn't corrupt and wouldn't lie for them). Then the PMO blocked the ethics and RCMP investigations into the PM's actions... A minority woman attacked, mocked, lied about all because she was honest and criminal investigation blocked politically!
Now, back south, might be interesting to see how this plays out now.
Rittenhouse Lawyer Calls Out Biden BY NAME After Verdict

Seems the Fed DOJ might want to press charges now. Tucker Carlson talks about Democratic response and racial lies and incitement.
https://www.facebook.com/TuckerCarls...87769402488870
You better believe it.
The jury spoke and issued a "not guilty" verdict. End of story. The real conviction in the case was a GUILTY verdict against the leftist politicians and especially, the media for all the world to see in glaring detail. Even the left's most staunch supporters can deny no longer without showing themselves to be completely delusional.
Listen to the evidence of delusion and paranoia that Tucker Carlson has... THEY DON'T CARE about facts, the police shooting of an armed attempted kidnapper started all the BLM riots and the media is are even saying the police killed him and other b.s. ... uh but he is alive.
Rosenbaum (child rapist) and Huber are being called heroes, Tucker actually shows the videos of them saying that.... criminals taken as heroes and the problem is the victim defended himself and didn't die to them. At 20 minutes you hear MNSBC making it racial and the riot is called a "protest" and calling him a white supremacist. "White men have a freedom others don't" on MNSBC etc. , some of the media are saying R & H were black and a race crime ... this will see the left go nuts even more!!
From the wiki...to pick the lowest level search to show the lie about the police shooting killing Blake... a zombie plea bargaining?
In January 2021, Kenosha County prosecutors announced that the officers involved in the shooting would not be charged, and Sheskey returned to regular police duty in April 2021. Prosecutors also announced that Blake would not face any new charges, and they dropped previous sexual assault and tresspassing charges against Blake in exchange for him pleading guilty to two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, for which he was then sentenced to two years of probation.
I argee with Tucker and Candice Owens... I hope he sues the media, Biden, the Democratic party and many!
Tucker had one on the media lies and youtube shutting down lawyers live feeds when the gun charges were thrown out.
https://www.facebook.com/TuckerCarls...03890491429192
I hope this kid / young man sues news media for slander plus Biden and movie deal becomes a multi millionaire or better
Do you really think he should profit after this stunt he pulled.
This KID made a conscious decision to place himself in harm's way by arming himself and going down amongst protesters and used the excuse he was doing a service to the public.
Now he like many of his weekend WARRIOR type's felt emboldened because he could legally arm himself with an AR 15, so was given POWER
by the State to go out there and confront other people and feel like he was a big man.
He was not a big man, but a scrawny kid, who could probably not fight his way with boxing gloves on out of a wet paper bag.
As his lawyer stated last night on CNN live," my clients regrets ever having went out that night".
So legally the jury found he used justifiable force to defend himself, but look at the low bar this State and others set for the taking of another human life.
If this continues the message sent to other protesters is simple, we all arm ourselves with Ar15,s and if the opposition are similarly armed it becomes a case of who pointed the gun first at whom and you have a shooting war and everybody declares they were acting in self defense.
This is a tragic story, this kid will probably never recover his life fully, the killing will be with him for life.
His lawyer a gun owner also stated he is appalled at the state of gun control in the USA.
IMHO the Police officer's did not do much of a job in this whole incident.
He done the American tax payers a huge favor as there are three Less undesirables that will be living off the American welfare system or three less being housed in a federal penitentiary. A registered sex offender a convicted felon as well a loser convicted of firearms offenses. I think most normal upstanding members of the community would be glad to hear that there are three less degenerates such as those roaming the streets at night.
"In the criminal case against Rittenhouse, Judge Bruce Schroeder barred jurors from considering Rittenhouse's links to the sometimes-violent, far-right Proud Boys and from seeing a video that prosecutors said showed him injuring a teenage girl."
Your blue eyed boy might not be as nice as you would like to make out, when he gets his back end sued in civil court, where his whole background will come under examination, including why he attended there the outcome could be very different.
A kid wet behind the ear who decided to become a vigilante with a Ar15 at a demonstration might get the short end of the stick from a jury in a civil proceedings.
Do you know why we Americans feel that we need guns to protect ourselves - the riots of last summer is exactly why - the cops stand by and you are left to defend yourself - years ago riots would be stopped by force before they can get started - that's not what happens now - if you live in a neighbor where mobs can take over you better have a gun and enough ammo - that is why the left wants to take away guns because they know that a point will be reached when the law abiding citizens will have had enough and start cleaning house -
Funny that gaige grosskreutz had a handgun that night pointed it at a 17 year old. No charges ?
WE can argue that he should have never been there in the first, that he was a vigilante and that he put himself in the position,BUT,and it's a very BIG BUT,that what he did intially was NOT illegal under US law. That's why he was never charged. The fact remains and the ONLY fact that the dead guys were chasing the kid who was in full flight with every intention of removing himself from the scene. Even by Canadian law (notwithstanding that scenario, here, would be highly unlikely),it would still be self defense. Those idiots got what they deserved for being morons. I call the Darwin Award.
Well said-this is what does not fit well with the left ,far left and the rest of them...........None of them talks WHY the deceased were having a RIGHT to chase the kid,or try to KILL the kid? Conveniently omitted facts.
For them-the kid is "on the right"so he deserves everything the "rioting good souls" throw at him.
He did nothin illegal, according to the law(stupidity is not a legal term)so like it or not, his case was actually assessed fairly by the jury .
Is is another story-if they will try to sue him, or if his life will be shattered with these events.
There are just victims in this sad story.
If you listen to some of the Democrat/leftists that Tucker Carlson showed speaking in the link I posted earlier they would have been very happy if the kid was killed and to hear them call a child rapist and felon heroes just how far down they have gotten. I hope Rittenhouse sues the lot and gets enough he can disappear and be safe and secure because the lies, hatred, distortions and outright fraud that has been directed at him. We have seen it here lots in Canada where a person defending themselves is viewed as worse than the criminal but to see a child rapist called a hero, the bottom just fell out. I am sure it will be used to create more BLM riots and the media will cheer that too. Our PM during COVID goes out to march with and virtue signal with a group that has done tens of million in damage and has "peaceful" chants that basically give us what we want or we will burn it down. Just a reminder on that ...
Threats to ‘burn it down’ chanted during Washington D.C. Black Lives Matter march
https://www.lawofficer.com/antifa-me...eaten-to-burn/
The riots started within hours... those that want to destroy and seize what they can will on any excuse, this will be another one.
https://rumble.com/vpivgc-protesters...to-garage.html
Riots, a kid that was legally there trying to protect people and property and the hate is on... he was being chased (by a child rapist, a felon that illegally had a handgun...) and defended himself and they hate him because of it! The threats and lies and intimidation are just starting for this poor kid, they know no bottom anymore. Criminals died and not the one being attacked, the left love their criminals, just look we have a lying ethics violating RCMP investigation blocking attorney general intimidating PM and they love him, socks and all.
Hardly. Americans value their guns more than anything. It’s not something new. They’ve been fed NRA BS for so long they now believe it. What do you call it Joe? “The price of freedom”. Sandy Hook or Stoneman Douglas shoots didn’t change a thing. So have at it. Stock up, load up and enjoy the freedom. Keep shooting each other.
Well, that was a nice anti-American rant. Too bad you missed the target by a mile. Americans value freedom and liberty, full stop and are prepared to defend it in all forms at all costs.. That's a concept Canadians are sadly lacking in understanding except,of course, those Canadians who have fought and died to protect it,especially,of late in Asia. Again, you blame the firearm for crime which is a lot like blaming forks because you're fat.
What real freedom do they have brother? Half the country appears to hate the other half, they believe they need gun's to protect their homes, their families, their neighborhood's, heck you might get shot down their for borrowing an old black and white telly.
No sadly the NRA, Gun manufacturers, the Republican party have all the Yanks scared out of their wits, they live in Gated communities, in other words they have effectively "locked themselves up" its pretty funny if it was not so sad a situation.
Folks that I know who fought and died for freedom, that was from Nazi tyranny, the type of government your favorite guy THE DONALD would like to impose on the whole of America. Well I got news for you, it isn't happening, because the so called FREEDOM you have spoken of is the freedom and power given to them by the various State Governments and their Constitution which has them bearing 300 million firearms split between both sides, so are you still feeling warm and fussy over all this so called freedom to annihilate, each other.
That SIR is the biggest pile of Horse e I have ever read on this forum. The history of your entire nation FROM BIRTH is steeped in blood and killings by firearms. All the way from the Indian Wars, The Civil War, Spanish/American War not to mention the crap you have started in the Middle East. Did you ever allow yourself to think WHY THERE WERE DEMONSTRATIONS, perhaps you missed the News. Sure years ago riots could be stopped by Force, like killing innocent students at Kent State University, but that stage coach left the station long time ago.
No Joe thanks to your support of the NRA, Republicans and gun manufacturers, you have managed to create two armed camp's out of your population, most all of them with access to firearms, so what would be your next smart move?
Once again you need to READ some history books and waken up, your country has changed, WHO YOU THOUGHT would always be IN CHARGE are not and your not going to be able to put the genie back in the bottle, because the gun promoting NRA lost the bottle top.
BTW Joe I am pretty sure Americans were buying guns for so called self defense WAY BEFORE THE RIOTS LAST YEAR, pretty sure it started round about when the Constitution was drafted LOL Right to bear arms Joe, yes they were buying arms back then to defend themselves. Of course you were all later day terrorists and traitors to the British Government.
Boy.... the bigotry and cow plop are thick.... or ignorance and arrogance and delusion ... not sure which. You actually seem to enjoy the idea of murder, must be a die hard Liberal to like murder so much, by your distorted version of logic if someone causes a car accident deliberately they should ban cars, or knives etc. Reminds me of another delusional and bigot but we will start with assuming you aren't that *** and you actually have a tiny bit of care about human lives and have a tiny bit of real morals and not just lying and gloating about your prejudiced views.
There are an estimated well over 1,000,000 gang members across the US and we just saw over 50 handguns being smuggled into Canada from the US by a gang. While "Rifles – the category that includes many guns that are sometimes referred to as “assault weapons”– were involved in 4%. Shotguns were involved in 2%. "
Handguns account for most and "the reality is that gun homicides are overwhelmingly tied to gang violence. In fact, a staggering 80% of gun homicides are gang-related."
http://jpfo.org/articles-assd03/gun-...erspective.htm
"Cities such as Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Cleveland, and New Orleans all have very high per-capita murder rates. Individual police estimates usually find at least 65% and often more than 80% of all murders in those cities are gang-related."
So by your either uninformed or prejudiced lies the solution is bans then, isn't working in Canada, do you think it would work in the US.... seems in Philedalphia alone "In 2019, city police seized 95 homemade guns, or Privately Made Firearms, as the PPD describes them.
In 2020, that number rose to 250. At the current pace this year, there could be more than 500 in 2021."
Take away people's option to defend themselves, to hunt, to target shoot etc and just leave the criminals getting them from elsewhere or just making their own.... I guess that if you considered freedom and self defence bad you could justifiy your attitude, but it seems quite bigoted, disrespectful and either delusional or your brain is leftist ****censored*******
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/accidental-injury.htm
Unintentional falls kill more than guns.
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/products/databriefs/db395.htm
Motor vehicle deaths are 11 out of 100,000 and accidental poisoning 20 out of 100,000 while if you don't count suicides by firearm it is single digits.
So the problem is with gangs, the larger population centres with concentrated areas of violence (seeming mostly in Democrat run cities) being a huge issue and you ignore "there are 11.4 million deer hunters in the U.S. This includes 4.63 million bowhunters. We are just talking deer here; this doesn’t include elk, bears, moose, sheep, turkeys, ducks, geese, other small game, etc.". The number of deer hunters is about 10X the number of gangs yet we see 80% of the murders gang related, I wonder where we would be at if we had the criminal related numbers, after all Rittenhouse shot a child rapist and a felon that was armed with a handgun so the only one that didn't have a criminal record, that obeyed the laws and came out to try and protect people and property from rioters was the one you seem to have an issue with.... sad.
Sounds like the same cow plop we get from Justlied and Billy Blair, attack the law abiding, the criminals get ignored... very sad
I'll just ignore G as usual, he has nothing to contribute but personal opinions often missing facts. His "demonstrations" were actually riots by BLM, ANTIFA and only called that by left based media that wouldn't show actually video and rants by bigot news casters like MSNBC and CNN and his "history" is just one sided opinion ignoring the whole reality like Riel, the Upper Canada rebellion etc etc in Canada itself . But just for you 'G', we know, we know Libs like you don't like free speech ,freedoms, rights.... it seems budgets, ethics and respect too but that's way off topic. Here is the Liberal leader that praises tyrants and likes mass murdering dictatorships...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZHUhfmlzXk
Types of weapons, fists etc. here, may as well include that,
https://www.statista.com/statistics/...y-weapon-used/
P.S.
I see G is still in delusion mode gloating that the lies and spending and corruption are in power, even though they got less votes than the Conservatives. How sad to see such a moral twisting required. Not worth a new post to respond
P.S.2
I see G is just so for once actually right, it would be safer if more had AR-15s and other firearms so I just I have to answer.
"
- According to the CDC, “self-defense can be an important crime deterrent.” Recent CDC reports acknowledge that studies directly assessing the effect of actual defensive uses of guns have found “consistently lower injury rates among gun-using crime victims compared with victims who used other self-protective strategies.”
- Semi-automatic rifles (such as the AR-15) are commonly used as self-defense weapons in the homes of law-abiding citizens because they are easier to control than handguns, are more versatile than handguns, and offer the advantage of up to 30 rounds of protection. Even Vox has published stories defending the use of the AR-15.
- AR-15s have been used to save lives on many occasions, including:
- Oswego, Illinois (2018) — A man with an AR-15 intervened to stop a neighbor’s knife attack and cited the larger weapon’s “intimidation factor” as a reason why the attacker dropped the knife.
- Catawba County, North Carolina (2018) — A 17-year-old successfully fought off three armed attackers with his AR-15.
- Houston, Texas (2017) — A homeowner survived a drive-by shooting by defending himself with his AR-15.
- Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (2017) — A homeowner’s son killed three would-be burglars with an AR-15 (the man was later deemed to have acted in justifiable self-defense).
- Ferguson, Missouri (2014) — African-American men protected a white man’s store from rioters by standing outside armed with AR-15s.
- Texas (2013) — A 15-year-old boy used an AR-15 during a home invasion to save both his life and that of his 12-year-old sister.
- Rochester, New York (2013) — Home intruders fled after facing an AR-15.
8. Concealed carry permit holders are not the problem, but they may be part of the solution.
- Noted criminologist John Lott found that, as a group, concealed carry permit holders are some of the most law-abiding people in the United States. The rate at which they commit crimes generally and firearm crimes specifically is between one-sixth and one-tenth of that recorded for police officers, who are themselves committing crimes at a fraction of the rate of the general population.
- Between 2007 and 2015, murder rates dropped 16 percent and violent crime rates dropped 18 percent, even though the percentage of adults with concealed carry permits rose by 190 percent.
So based on evidence he got it partially right, some safety training in schools would be good, I wish we should have a day course for firearms safety here too, probably save way more lives than Justlied's OIC etc. and could be nice to include hiking, fishing, canoeing etc. too. We can see how well firearm ignorance works over and over and even in Alec Baldwin's case.
Well if your so keen on all this lets just arm all the kids here with AR 15, what a brilliant solution and have them go at it.
Oh yeh I forgot you guys tried that in the last two general elections and it cost you the election's and you couldn't even get a leader who had the stomach to back up his own promises. Well that's the bad new for you.
The good news is that our leader, the very Honorable Prime Minister of Canada JUSTIN TRUDEAU kept his promises on these guns and handily one the last election and even gained more seats. Thank goodness your avatar shows his beautiful smiling face I just don't know why Billy is not the picture with him and you have that stupid looking cowboy.
You got it all wrong, once every American over the age of 5, has an AR15 everything will be well in America. I mean arming everybody so far has worked out so well for Americans, they feel safe in their own homes, don't need to live in gated communities, they almost never kill each other accidently, heck I, am pretty sure they never have anybody accidently killing themselves with a gun, all those mass shootings are just made up nonsense by the left, they never happen in America.
So,how come -based on Your theory, the 2 deceased in this sad case were trying to harm badly the kid ,were trying to do that by other means?
Should we ban skateboards too ?
Please tell us-why those 3 men were in their rights : to attack ,and try badly to harm a fleeing man?
Curious to hear that theory too.
Where did I blame the firearms? Canadians don’t walk around downtown with guns. They are tools to be used in the pursuit of hunting, sport shooting and agriculture to name three. They may value freedom and liberty, but walking around with loaded rifles and handguns doesn’t make one free.
Second Amendment
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Tucker’s own lawyers argued that he is entertainment not to be taken seriously or believed as fact.
https://www.npr.org/2020/09/29/91774...ay-fox-s-lawye
So true, but unfortunately the Americans have been brainwashed into believing more firearms in the hands of citizens equals freedom, it does the opposite. But how could it be any other way, the American gun manufacturers could hardly sell firearms AROUND THE GLOBE and not let their own citizens have free and unfettered access to them, that would be hypocritical. Starting wars, fermenting internal strive in other countries are all about keeping the industrial complex in business, gun running at its best.
So for me guns represent power and its attractive to those who otherwise feel powerless, like this scrawny kid who is suddenly 6fy tall with his AR15. The State and this jury has now sanctioned this use of a firearms, so what stops any like minded kid's from following suit. Do they really want a bunch of mentally and physically immature teenagers running around like this, apparently so.
Gilroy the point I was making was that if you didn't own a gun and you lived anywhere near where the riots occurred you better get one and learn how to use it - based on the orders from superiors the police did nothing - many store owners who tried to stop the mob from burning down their store were beating up badly - it has gotten to a point where you are on your own when the riots begin -
And let me tell you something - eventually there is going to be armed confrontation between the left and the right in this country - once the riots spill out of the inner cities and head into the suburbs the shooting is going to begin - maybe I won't be around anymore but the way things are going there isn't anything that is going to stop it from happening - myself and all my neighbors are well armed and would have no hesitation to defend ourselves -
Rittenhouse is a product of modern American society. Pampered teenager, self-styled vigilante, possible white supremacist, armed with an assault rifle and high-capacity magazines. He was an accident looking for a place to happen and he found it.
The issue isn't that Kyle Rittenhouse is a product of modern American society it is that large swaths of the nation are lauding him as a hero and someone to be emulated.
Well your right but what has that wrought for them? No real freedom, scared of each other, emboldened to shot a black jogger who was simply out for a run down a residential street. Their well regulated Militia will eventually give them a well unregulated CIVIL WAR.
Remember the first thing a dictator does when he gains power - take away the guns from the citizens - guess why
If the issue is that the Police are doing nothing to protect you, then clearly you have the WRONG FOLKS ON THE JOB.
The point your missing is that you no longer can stand on a suspects neck any more in American until he chocks, you are not going to be allowed to shoot a black unarmed jogger out for a run on a residential street, with a shotgun, after chasing him down, killing him and claiming self defense.
Now I know you might be nostalgic and want American back to the day's where this was tolerated, covered up and the police were seen to be on one side. But those days are over, technology, camera's, social media, the cat's out of the back.
I agree you will probably end up in a second civil war because certain elements in your land have not accepted losing the first Civil war. In the same way that those certain elements did not accept losing the last election.
So you lost the last election and should expect to be at a 7 million citizen disadvantage at the start of that war if the election results were right. If the Republicans, The Donald or anybody else think's they are simply going to roll over the WILL OF THE PEOPLE your dead wrong.
Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all counts by a jury.
Millions of Americans approve of that decision but it appears that the left have their nose bent out of joint.
The people have been pushed around long enough and will now stand their ground.
Some here are surprised and upset by this?
This is a worldwide phenomena with millions protesting tyranny.
There is violence in the streets endorsed by corrupt governments and you wonder why people such as Kyle are fighting back and defending their rights?
No Joe the first thing a Dictator does is he aligns himself with other World dictators to make that system appear normal, he then pretends to play the game of democracy, but when he losses he incites the mob to turn on those he saw as responsible for the loss, even friends, lies,
changes voting laws and does everything in his power to destroy the democratic process.
Does that sound like anybody you know, I know Hitler come's to mind, but this guy is closer to home, he was half Scottish and Half German
he has a bad hair do, come on Joe think hard, you will get his name....
What right was this kid defending exactly. The right to run around like a big man with an AR15, a scrawny 17 year old punching way beyond his weight class.
Maybe Americans need to trade their firearms for boxing gloves and we will get the balance back.
I have done a bit of boxing so I will be first in the ring with Mr Trump who seems to be a coward and gets others to do his boxing for him.
Hey I got an idea Justin Trudeau versus Donald Trump in a 3 rounds three minutes boxing match, I would go the twelve round route but Trump will probably have died of a heart attack in the first round with Justin. LOL
Some of the description doesn't fit.... but clearly the "leader" must be this guy

We have seen this come true piece by piece in the use of power, the use of the secrecy act, the lies, the intimidation of the attorney general, blocking investigations....

Remember in Canada the Liberals think free speech and defending their rights and property is bad, it is the criminal they side with.
Good image below, it sums it up nicely, but sadly the haters don't care about facts, evidence or truth.... they will do anything to distract or ignore them since it will get in the way of their opinions and rants. For example you can show them of Trudeau saying his favourite govt is a dictatorship that has murdered millions and they will say something like, well its on youtube or rumble, it wasn't this week.... anything to avoid truth, running fast and grasping at straws to ignore it.

Impossible Mosquito, you guys already said he had real nice hair and the parents more towards the French Canadian side.
Boy, you just can't get it right... let's correct.
White male while protecting property and people assaulted by 3 criminals (child rapist, felon armed with a handgun...) ended up defending himself, the media then lied and verbally and legally assaulted by those with an agenda and disdain for facts.
Sad day in Canada, we see those that stand up lied and facts distorted in fear of people that stand up for what is right and defend themselves instead of being beaten and possibly killed by criminals.
The evidence shows you got facts wrong again.
Sad, I can present so many facts like here.
https://www.oodmag.com/community/sho...=1#post1180152
and the response shows an aversion to that reality and nothing but an attempt to distract....
Sorry Mosquito,
This kid was out of his area, defending nothing he owned and sticking his nose in where it did not belong. Long and short of it he has regretted every minute of it according to his lawyer, would never do the same thing again and has probably learned a very hard life lesson.
Unfortunately other people lost their lives, but he has to because he will never be the same again and probably has years of civil trials ahead.
This tragic story should be put to rest.
Your forgetting that it's just a gun ,yep that's all it is.
Pretty sad here in Canada they need to use a 30 year old case to push the fear of a gun.
You know the ar 15 that has done little to no damage amongst us. A gun so scary pets kill more often than the gun itself in Canada.

So Kyle knew all this before he shot them? While protect property that wasn’t his? Oh that makes it all ok then.
End of the day, he was found not guilty. Doesn’t bother me. But judging by the discussion here some members seem to long for the opportunity to do the same thing here. That is ridiculous. If you want to play judge, jury and executioner feel free to head south of the border. Or wait until you finally get “your guy” is elected and give it a try.
Yep, and they have lied about him dying (he's just pea bargained) witht ANTIFA and BLM using it as an excuse to burn and destroy, tens of millions of dollars in damage, hence the reason Rittenhouse was out to protect from the riots. Then they attacked him, he tried running away, they chased and attacked him more and some ended up shot. They will use it again for more destruction it seems
No dippy, he defended himself from attackers... you really hate facts or just the fact someone defended themselves instead of just getting beaten, robbed atleast and maybe killed. Protecting themselves and their family... yeah most with a backbone and integrity on here would... the Libs probably just curl up in a corner, pee themselves, that's the Lib advice to women instead of pepper spray etc.. Any straw to avoid the facts, how sad, I hope your mental condition is better one day.
I don't need to be judge and jury... they already threw out the invalid charges and found him innocent. We need to get "our guy" elected, the liar we have in power in Canada is terrible, lies, corruption, doubling the deficit, used jets, money to terrorists, division etc... disgusting!
"Wilson-Raybould says she's mad at herself now for having once thought Trudeau is an 'honest and good person, when, in truth, he would so casually lie to the public' "
In WWII 17 year old kids by the thousands falsified paperwork in order to join various branches of the military and defend our freedom against tyranny. They simply saw the danger and stepped up to defend democracy.
History has a tendency of repeating itself and we are now sitting on a powder keg worldwide.
People of all ages are fed up with the woke cattle manure and are stepping up to reclaim what is rightfully theirs peacefully but will defend themselves against anarchists. Surprised?
The leftist are now in damage control trying to prevent this Great Awakening.
Ironic that every year we pay homage to the same class of 17 year olds at Remembrance day ceremonies who fought for the freedom we enjoyed. They are the last remaining survivors of the horrors that descended on this planet.
Lest We Forget......
I feel like this thread lacks a level of useless memes. You know, ones that make you role your eyes.
oh wait. Never mind. Job done.
With all the strong opinions in this thread ,there is one thing NOT answered yet:
WHY many here ,who vehemently oppose the Rittenhouse verdict, think that those 3 unlucky people, who got shot -HAD the right to attack the kid? With intention to do serious damage to the fleeing man-up to and including killing him?
What makes their attack OK and not questionable?
Please help me understand this .
Darwin’s theory at its best . Who in their right mind would chase anyone armed with a rifle????
I've said it it here before, but I don't know why you guys keep responding to those trolls, it's a total waste of time that accomplishes nothing other than feed their frail egos. No matter how much you post the truth it will make no difference to them as their only purpose is to disrupt these threads, regardless of the topic. Just ignore them, they'll slither away once they don't get reactions anymore.

Well I for one made no mention of vehemently opposing the Rittenhouse verdict. This kid placed himself in harm's way because he was armed and felt emboldened to act as a Cop. He could have well got himself shot and the shooter used the same defense?
The most guilty parties here are as Joe indicates Police officers not carrying out their functions they are being paid to do now they have more vigilantes weekend warriors running around as if they didn't have enough already down there.
LMAO, if those last 6 posts are related to my last one then I guess you still haven't figured out that you're all on my ignore list so I don't see or look at any of your posts. You're not worth wasting my time on, that's for sure.
Right, he was there for the free ice cream. Just happened to bring his rifle with him.
Facts, morals, ethics, honesty, integrity.... some just can't understand them, they spend their time trying to justify burning, riots, criminals and ANTIFA etc. committing assaults and blaming the victims or those that stand up to the human trash like the 3 that got shot. They have to find excuses (not real reasons) for the violence, burnings and hate to be justified and I think the hamster died awhile ago. They actually have no issues with lying and distracting, hating a piece of metal for example, that evidence shows is often used in self defence.... and we know they hate that!
https://www.oodmag.com/community/sho...=1#post1180152
There were no victims, according to the judge.

Just a quick reminder of the left's heroes:
George Floyd, a drug addict and career criminal who forced his way into a woman’s home and robbed her at gun point
Jacob Blake, a knife-wielding alleged rapist and woman abuser who assaulted cops
Joseph Rosenbaum, a violent felon and serial child molester who raped 5 kids
Daunte Wright, robbed and choked a woman at gunpoint
Rayshard Brooks, felon and domestic abuser who passed out drunk in a fast food drive thru lane then assaulted cops and stole their taser
Notice a pattern?
Kyle had every right to be where he was. There was nothing illegal or controversial about his presence.
The left can't have their cake and eat it too. They've been shrieking to defund the police for years, burning cop cars, rioting, looting, assaulting and killing people in the streets with impunity. Many cops have walked off the job because of these ridiculous 'woke' policies from the top brass.
Now they want to blame the cops and try and remove one's right to self defence at the same time.
Kyle Rittenhouse took down a mob of arsonists and rapists and then defeated the entire Media-Big Tech-Democrat machine. What a champ.
In what universe is the verdict anything other than sane and just.
Well let me tell you something - when all the smoke clears Mr. Rittenhouse will be a very rich man - like that kid Sandmann - you better believe it
Dedicated to you...lol

Yup agreed. He was not guilty according to the law and he was defending himself.
as is often the case, this thread has spiralled downward into another right/left circus…Gilly’s first post that I agreed with seemed logical to me but some of his posts since have gone off the rails. This thread shouldn’t be an arena to fight and re-hash every left vs right battle of the last decade
Anyone who’s read my posts in the past knows that I lean right, but I can’t imagine why any adult would look at this and come up with some of the posts I have read tonight. A few of us on the right need to think a little clearer, (this paragraph is not a reply to the post quoted above)
I wouldn’t have any issue at all with the kid protecting his family or home…I would applaud it…but that wasn’t the case and it doesn’t matter that it was only 20 minutes from his home , or that he had family in Kenosha because he wasn’t at their house…a kid took a loaded AR15 into a riot and found the trouble he went looking for. This time it worked out for him. Next time all the rioters might have AR’s too because they can….and when it starts….
Just ignore him, he and another have nothing to actually contribute but distractions and disdain for the one that obeyed the law and hero worship of the criminals. I already posted their record and the CBC junk and trying to make it racial ... somehow.
https://www.oodmag.com/community/sho...=1#post1180034
and proved most of the b.s. about the AR as just that b.s.
https://www.oodmag.com/community/sho...=1#post1180152
from the 2nd link make note of the "racial" nature... sure doesn't fit the media and left divisive propaganda... one race protecting another using an AR-15....
Quote:
Ferguson, Missouri (2014) — African-American men protected a white man’s store from rioters by standing outside armed with AR-15s.
There have been many examples of hate groups like BLM and ANTIFA marching screaming burn it down and causing tens of millions in damage but they and the bigots on MNSBC etc are a minority I would say. The good coverage that showed you what happened, like Rittenhouse being chased and hit, generally weren't the ones that were the major players. I think Tucker Carlson was the only one that showed more than 2 seconds of tape or just a still picture and told you what to think, also he actually showed the bigots spouting their lies, but hey they can ignore it if they want, doesn't change the facts though. Other than Fox the only ones that have been showing and talking honestly are few, here's an example from another post.
Quote:
P.S.
Bongino and Damani Bryant Felder and Ian Runkle all have been interesting to listen to on different parts of this.

There, that's the sum of it. Kid goes to protect and not burn and defends himself... and in so doing shoots actual criminals who the left now call heroes.... I hope he sues and gets tens of millions atleast! Time to ignore this thread, you can't convince the left ideologues and the others probably have seen enough to see a kid go through hell and I look forward to his being rich.
Oh as a P.S. ... another Liberal "hero" Omar Khadr... they call him a child at 16 when he built IEDs to kill and used a grenade to kill one soldier and wound another... yet they think he deserved the $10,000,000 and justify it. I'll take the video part out but leave the link, so here is a teen happily trying to kill and creating IEDs (Bombs) to kill... and they can justify paying him and blocking the widow from suing him.... I wonder if his sister is still in jail in the middle east on terrorism charges, I forget where she got arrested and found guilty.
Quote:
I hope Kyle gets 10X the Khadr payout... after all if trying to kill and wound and maim is worth $10M then trying to protect, helping to put out fires and being attacked violently should be worth 10X that. :moose:
Have a good night.
So first you say he's not guilty and was defending himself, fine. Then somehow you assume he went looking for trouble because he was legally carrying a firearm like many do in the States, it's legal. You seem to be contradicting yourself. So his dad lives there and so do his grandparents, for all you know the reason he went armed was in case he had to protect their property. In fact, from what I've heard the gas station that those goons were targeting with the burning bin belonged to his grandfather, that's why he was so intent on putting out that fire and the rioters hated him for that and chased after him threatening to kill him. Doesn't sound to me like he went looking for trouble, not something a 17 year old would feel confident doing does it?
No Joe he will never be a very rich man, because he will be tortured by his conscience for the rest of his life.
What he is right now is a very LUCKY person and lucky in the sense that he could be dead. If the protestor armed with the handgun had the good sense to use it the moment this kid raised the gun even half an inch in the wrong direction the protester should have shot him dead.
The protester would claim the same right of self defense as claimed by this kid and guess what, even if he got charged the jury would have to decide if he was acting as a reasonable person would. So what do you think, a protester legally exercising his right to self defense using a handgun against a person who took it upon himself to attend a peaceful protest armed with a AR 15.
Well in IMHO the protester walks and this kid is dead, end of story. The witnesses would probably be all protester's so their evidence would all go to the defense. On the off chance there was a very good close up camera shot, it would come down to inches on the position of this kids gun barrel.
So Joe this is the situation you have in America, its the Wild West, the first guy who blinks and goes for his gun.
The best to hope from this situation is that this kid devotes the rest of his life to gun control in the USA and saves some lives, that way his life might be very rich.
We will be getting the jury's verdict on the Ahmaud Arbery murder trial where three white citizens also decided they were going to play Police officer and managed to shot a black unarmed jogger to death.
I expect and hope they are sentenced to life in prison.
If these guys get off then you have set the whole country up to be a WAR ZONE, everybody arming and everybody in each others face and everybody claiming the right of self defense. What a total mess.
Once again it shows the wisdom of the Liberal Government in Canada restricting access to firearms for public safety.
Smitty: it’s entirely possible to do something completely legal and completely stupid at the same time, which is what we have here. Ask yourself if you would encourage your son to do what he did. I doubt it and hope not.
Gilly’s post #100 above this one has some truth….guns in the WRONG hands spells trouble (Second Amendment or not) and trouble is what lies ahead guys.
just look at this story from last night..who knows if there is a link or not, regardless it speaks to a society tearing itself apart

And then there is this side of the story. The right side of course.
"Media Has Total Meltdown Over Kyle Rittenhouse Verdict"

Self defense is self defense. I guess some just take it for a grain of salt .
I don't care where you live you have the right to protect yourself. End of story.

Yes. Which is why this case is such a win for sanity and common sense. Two things that fly in the face of modern leftist orthodoxy, an orthodoxy which ironically worships total submission to the state while also claiming we should have ultimate freedom to do whatever we want without consequence.
This seems to be a common viewpoint from police officers or former police officers like yourself. "Just let us handle it"
I don't know if it's pride or more of a job security thing. You could learn how to do that little home improvement yourself, but best to hire a professional like me...
The problem is they often don't handle it, or are told to stand down by their superiors. I don't know if you've seen the full extent of damage done over the past few years...people assaulted and killed in the streets by left-wing rioters (not protestors), cop cars burning, 911 not willing or able to respond...a complete disaster and failure of law and order.
Your example of the rioter shooting someone is different -- they are out to cause harm by virtue of them participating in a violent, aggressive form of protest with a playbook of explicit commie/black bloc terrorist tactics. They are the ones looking for trouble, not the other way around. They often have weapons, mostly illegal. They are often not of sound mind or moral character and have quite the checkered past, and the media and big tech machine runs cover for them at every turn.
What wisdom is displayed by our liberal government in restricting and banning weapons that have no value to public safety? When we know where the majority of crimes and shooting come from.
The citizen has the right to self defence. Something enshrined in the American constitution. Thank God for that.
Mean while black panthers are outside Joggers ahmaud arbery murder trial with ak47’s and displaying coffins with accused names on them
Defence just called for mistrial
I think you are missing the point, WHY ARE THEY PROTESTING IN THE FIRST PLACE?
They are protesting because of injustice and police inaction and over reaction. I hope you are not taking the viewpoint that people hired as police officers in the USA are the best choices. Most up till now who have been hired were ex military, ex militia, family members of other police officers, this does not make them good candidates.
Your portrayal of the vast MAJORITY of demonstrators is highly inaccurate IMHO.
When you have Militia members blocking the entrance to Michigan's Legislature and calling for the death of the female Governor while fully armed with AR15,s is this your idea of peaceful protest, IF IT IS AND ITS LAWFUL AS I AM SURE YOU ARE ABOUT TO SAY, then guess what the
"other side" gets to do the same.
The wisdom displayed by our government gives us a country where we do not have certain folks/groups surrounding our Parliament building while armed with AR15,s. I think that is a good thing.
The good news from 60 minutes last night is that Policing is now being re invented. Recruits are getting taught to call out fellow officers who violate others rights, calls for mental health will now be a 4th option on a 911 call, police officers will be required to meet face to face with minority groups as part of their initial training and de-escalation a priority. No more drill Sergeant military training boot camp crap that should have been done away with 20 years ago. We need thinking police officers with the training and mentality to handle complex problems.
Not guys that are good at shooting citizens and talking later.
The right to self defense in the USA is set at such a low bar these days that one citizen can practically shot another for nothing. Is this the type of country you want to live in and want for your own kid's.
Please cite the source of your information?
Is this the same defense lawyer who is almost in contempt of court by demanding the trial Judge exclude the presence of black pastors in the same public courtroom.
Can you imagine a defense lawyer who is so inept that he would try and have the case narrative be about race, when the prosecutor has not used race in the trial but has focused her attention on the actions of the accused and their weak story about self defense.
Three WHITE men armed with firearms, pretending they are COPS and making a citizens arrest on an unarmed jogger, who happened to be born as a black man.
These three COWARDS did not even have the grounds to make any arrest.
An art installation in the shape of a casket with the names of Black people who have been killed in incidents involving police violence was also placed outside the courthouse. Malik Barlow, a marketing consultant speaking for artist Darrell Kelley, said the casket is a "metaphor," and a way for the artist to exercise his First Amendment rights.

All depends on what channel your watching.
Smitty….he wasn’t “just carrying a firearm”…..he took a loaded firearm to the scene of a riot, with the intention of intervening. As I said…sitting on a front porch to defend property with that firearm is perfectly justified…what he did was go looking for trouble…..and just to be clear I blame everyone including the police and civilian authorities…they have jobs to do and failed.
I’m surprised that you don’t see it this way, but I guess we’ll have to disagree.
When the Proud Boys and the Black Panthers have a shoot out I hope it is on TV so we can see it - should be good
Yep I disagree with you on that one. I don't see anything that makes me assume like you do that he went looking for trouble, simply legally carrying a firearm like many other people there doesn't imply that to me. What I do believe is that if those goons hadn't attacked him those altercations wouldn't have happened. He certainly wasn't the instigator like he would have been had he been looking for trouble as you keep assuming, but without evidence.
Btw Mark, It sure wouldn't have made any sense to bring an unloaded firearm to a riot now would it, just sayin' ;)
1 thing your missing is that it wasn't his gun and he wasn't legally allowed to have one apperantly. Judge didn't allow any of that into the trial though.
I do agree when looking at this knowing the American laws that it was self defense at the end of the day there though.
Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk
Don't be to cocky Joe you might get a very nasty surprise. I see a lot of fat, out of shape, middle aged proud boys who probably could not go on a half a mile run without having the big one. These are scared cowards who cannot handle themselves physically and need a firearms to protect themselves. No the USA has managed to military train a whole bunch of folks down there and they will all put that training to good use if the time comes. I will be betting on one side and it ain't the so called proud boys.
Yeh what,s wrong with that picture you have protesters exercising their right to bear arms in the exact same manner Rittenhouse did, except
Rittenhouse chose to go out into a protest/ near riot situation and police it. The Judge inside refused to declare a mistrial because of the protesters outside in that photograph, so I am assuming from that they were legal and within their rights to not only bear arms but to protest.
Marching in the streets with loaded firearms under the guise of a "demonstration" is truly bizarre. 'merica,ma rights, baby!
The military is already being put to good use to take away the rights of citizens.
Understand that the Proud Boys were created firstly as a joke, a men's drinking club, and secondly as a response to relentless antifa violence and intimidation -- speakers getting assaulted with urine and faeces, etc. People finally said "ok, we'll fight back" They did and the kept winning, so that angered the establishment and they smeared the Proud Boys as white supremacists (despite being very racially mixed). They are deemed a domestic terror group while antifa still wreaks havoc. Figure that one out.
Look what happened in Nova Scotia a few years ago where a few Proud Boy members of the military were thrown under the bus for questioning an aboriginal protest on Canada Day.
As I've said in other threads this 'woke' direction of the country and the military -- which is the last vestige of strength, competence, meritocracy and national protection -- is not good.
Well when they can call a group run by a black Cuban a white supremacist........
https://ewccommunication.com/wp-cont...46-8PENjn.jpeg
while groups like BLM march shouting about dead cops and ANTIFA burning it all down are ignored....
https://www.lawofficer.com/antifa-me...eaten-to-burn/
You know something is wrong with them mentally and morally.
Even if that were the case, which it isn't, they are their own worst enemy by shooting themselves in the foot with their extremely nasty and violent behaviour. Not the best spokespeople for their cause.
The stats fly in the face of the emotional leftist narrative that innocent black people are being hunted for sport by noose-wielding kkk cops. It just isn't true.
Looting, rioting, burning cities to the ground and assaulting/killing people (including other black people like retired officer, hero and true Patriot David Dorn) is not an acceptable or legal form of protest. It's beyond absurd how the media has ran cover for these atrocities with reporters calling them "mostly peaceful" while the city burns behind them.
The Black Panthers, a heavily armed militia, occupied the capital in protest. A bunch of lefties descendent on the capitol when they didn't like the Kavanaugh verdict. The left has committed much more violence historically and recently that it's not even close. And the reason I believe they are criticized more heavily In places like this forum is because they control all the major cultural and political institutions and no one is really allowed to talk about it in polite society...lest you be smeared as racist, xenophobic, or any other meaningless leftist insult designed to stifle debate.
Yes -- the only people who surround our parliament with AK's are Islamic terrorists, and the guards are still not armed after that atrocious debacle a few years ago.
This isn't simply about left-right politics or race, as it is often misinterpreted as. Politics gets dragged into it because they are connected, but it is more of a philosophical battle concerning rights, responsibilities, risks, rewards, rules, laws, etc. Which side is closest to common sense, decency, basic individual rights, etc.
I agree with your last point in some ways -- certain states could do with better gun licensing and training. I don't agree with any person who hasn't taken a basic gun safety course just walking out of a store with a bag full of guns for example. But the stats show that most of the crimes are committed with illegal firearms so this is a moot point in that sense. I am of course not a fan of senseless violence or indiscriminate killing.
I do believe in our right to self defense and in cases where seconds matter, and the police are minutes away, what other choice to we have? That's why this case is important because it reinforces, rather than undermines the sane rule of law. Otherwise the precedent is set to just let yourself be killed by violent protestors. I want to live in a place where my children will stay alive because of my protective actions, and view their father as a hero rather than criminal or enemy of the state for saving them from a violent situation. I'm sure all fathers would want that.
We have to acknowledge the special right that Americans have and that it is ultimately a good thing, like the Texas church shooter being quickly taken down by a good guy with a gun before police arrived.
Simply put it is a battle of Good vs Evil.
Robert F Kennedy Jr: “This is the final battle, we need to win this one"
https://rumble.com/vpmilp-robert-f-k...-this-one.html
https://www.foxnews.com/us/florida-p...-shooting-cops - moral of story - don't point a gun at anyone unless you want to shoot them otherwise you could get shot -
Well you do not even have to take a basic gun course to get a gun in many USA States.
This is all about white society still trying to keep their knee on the necks of black's in the USA.
Where they historically always had the upper hand.
NO MORE, technology has come to the rescue of these folks and now everything which could have been covered up, swept under the table is no more.
That's a good thing and blacks are now taking the example of the Michigan Proud Boys and arming themselves with the same firepower and same protective vests. Do you find something wrong with this BUSHWHACKER?
So in this case Rittenhouse, seconds matter police minutes away DOES NOT APPLY, because he put himself in the line of danger.
Just like the three white cowards in the Aubrey case who believed because they were WHITE they could pursue a unarmed Black jogger down a street, box him in and shoot him for at very most a trespass. BUT THEY HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE PREVIOUS TRESPASS.
I suppose you think black folks should just sit back and take it in the neck when incidents like George Floyd take place.
Well guess what NOT GOING TO HAPPEN ANYMORE.
So while you are so big on demonstrations what did you think of the Proud Boys invading Congress and trying to overthrow the American peoples wishes.
Would you consider this bad behavior, or do they get a pass because they were mostly white TRUMP supporters?
Yup and that is why Rittenhouse is so lucky, he could well have been shot by the demonstrator.
But that is OK if you want to still live in the Wild West, I am pretty sure that most rational folks around the World have scored America of the countries to visit list. They would all be safer in communist China having a visit.
Yeh your right, the officer that murdered George Floyd in jail. The coward that took camera footage of Aubrey now has that same footage used by the prosecution against himself and the other two wanna police cowards.
Trump losing by 7 million votes, the good guys winning again.
Back home the good guys back in power for 4 more years, The Speaker of the House a Liberal re instated to that position once again.
Sunny ways my friend, the good guys are winning hands down. IMHO
You are way off on that one. In that state he was totally legal at 17 to carry that firearm. Yes it belonged to someone else who legally carried it across the state line. The judge dismissed all those firearm charges as the weren't valid as admitted by the prosecution when he questioned them on the firearm. There's a video on it.
https://www.breitbart.com/2nd-amendm...e-rittenhouse/
The Judge did not allow the connection between Rittenhouse and the proud boys.
'Schroeder also barred prosecutors from linking Rittenhouse to the Proud Boys, though Rittenhouse had become friendly with the violent and bigoted group in the days following the street killings.
You do realize that the radical leftist thugs like antifa and blm (actual domestic terror organizations that still have not been designated as such), which again outnumber any centrist/libertarian/conservative 'thugs' by a long shot, use this tactic all the time right?
There is so much pressure to go along with their fantasy narratives or they dox you (expose your identity/address/contact info) and call for your head.
Why are you playing the race card? If you want to go down that road you will lose.
If there is any racial discrimination, it runs in the opposite direction of what you suggest.

If you melted down all the gold under Fort Knox to mint brand new golde medals for mental gymnastics you run out before you got halfway through this thread.
A lot of keyboard quarter backs spewing opinions hot off the bullspit presses.
Bunch of internet tough guys spewing off about a situation they weren't there for and don't understand, using the same type of language they would shout others down for using.
A kid made a bad call and tried to help out. He got caught in a mob and was chased down. He only shot once his life was being directly threatened. How many people can say they would be as calm and disciplined?
He could have opened up on the crowd as soon as they started chasing him. He waited until he had zero choice except the one he made.
Shame on all you.
The internet tough guys would never have been so emboldened as to take their scrawny 17 years old bodies armed with an AR 15 into an already inflamed situation. This kid was not trying to help out and when the civil suit case comes up which it will WE WILL HAVE FULL ACCESS TO THIS LITTLE LAD'S FACE BOOK TRANSACTIONS,CONVERSATIONS AND ALL OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA HE WAS ON prior to his arrival there.
Including his associations with the Proud Boys and his other supporters. He better be saving up in his piggy bank.
Donald has his back...lol

Would we expect anything less.
Well if we are going by the evidence all his actions prior to being mobbed were helpful and not antagonistic.
Yes the situation was FUBAR which is exactly why he felt the need to go help, his words not mine. We can't just start making up reasons without evidence.
It appears that multiple organizations and public figures reached out to him after the incident, inuding the proud boys. I have yet to see any evidence of his association with any nefarious groups prior to the night of the shooting.
Gilroy you have used derogatory language to describe Rittenhouse all over this thread and that is the exact "internet tough guy" talk I was referring to in my original post.
The "proud boys" thing was hearsay without proof. I would think that's why the "evidence" was not admitted. The judge was right on top of it. The fact the kid armed himself and went to where the SHTF is "moot" because it was 100% legal. That, too,is why no charges were laid. We may find it ridiculous by our standards, but, alas, that's the law in those states. Any self respecting lawyer would have the FB account disabled, immediately,to prevent intrusion by those attempting to make this a "right/left" thing. Anyone attempting to launch a lawsuit against a minor will have a very tough uphill battle. No matter how many judgements some ambulance-chasing jacka** of a lawyer thinks he can get out of some kid that doesn't have a pot to pee in or the window to through it from ain't got a hope. No matter how hard they try, they can't get blood from a stone.
Well the post where I laid out the facts and said I wouldn't wast my time, I changed my mind, one more.

In Canada, for something to constitute fair comment, the comment must be on a matter of public interest (excluding gossip), based on known and provable facts, must be an opinion that any person is capable of holding based on those facts, and with no actual malice underlying it. The cardinal test of whether a statement is fair comment is whether it is recognizable as an opinion rather than a statement of fact, and whether it could be drawn from the known facts. There was formerly a rule stating that the opinion must be honestly held by the publisher (See Chernesky v. Armadale Publications Ltd. [1978] 6 W.W.R. 618 (S.C.C.)) but this rule was changed to one requiring that the opinion is capable of being held by anyone. (See Rafe Mair v. Kari Simpson [2008] 2 S.C.R. 420

Dominick Black, now 20, purchased the Smith & Wesson M&P 15 rifle for Rittenhouse at a hardware store in May 2020. Three months later, the teenager used it to kill Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber and wound Gaige Grosskreutz during the Kenosha protests.
Black was charged with two counts of delivering a dangerous weapon to a minor, resulting in death.

During Rittenhouse’s trial, Black was the first witness, telling the jury that he used his friend’s money to buy the gun but that the pair had agreed Rittenhouse wouldn’t use it until he turned 18.
But on Aug. 25, 2020, when Rittenhouse traveled to Kenosha during the protests, Black’s stepfather took the guns out of their safes, fearing trouble, Black testified. Rittenhouse took his to the streets that night.
Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger filed a proposed plea deal for Black Friday, in which he would plead no contest to a pair of citations, and pay a $2,000 fine, and the felony counts would be dismissed, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The deal will go before Judge Bruce Schroeder Monday; he can accept it, reject it or toss the charges entirely after throwing out a similar count against Rittenhouse for unlawful possession of a firearm as a minor
