Ruger no 1 success
2 years ago I decided to challenge myself by limiting my hunting to one shot, I decided to use a Ruger no 1 and so far it’s paid off. The only thing I’ll worn you about when you purchase one you might get addicted like me and buy 4 more LOL.

Great deer! I guess you have a new lucky day.

Nice, congrats... Looks like a couple of great deer you got there. One shot, one kill is an awesome way to hunt... CVA Wolf for me :)

Nice buck, congrats. Thumbs up on using a single shot rifle. I made the switch to a Browning B78 about 10 years ago for similar reasons. Good luck on your next hunt.

I've been using the No 1's for years and have taken both moose and deer with my .280 Rem. Big Ruger fan.

Thank you everyone and good luck to everyone who’s still on the hunt. Love the Ruger no 1 for it’s simplicity and fail proof action, I never have to worry about it jamming, also just knowing you have one shot to make count in my mind i feel has made me a better hunter

I hear you, it only takes one well aimed shot. I love the No 1s and Encores with multiple barrels.
Congrats.
