Sorry to hear that. Looks like a fine dog. Exactly what we are looking to get.
Very sorry to hear that. I well known the heartache that comes from a dog's death. Still worth loving a dog though imo. You had 11 good years with her.
Mine also has cancer , but the very slow growing kind.... apocrine sweat gland cancer. Been a year and a half now and he's still bopping around. Has ALC surgery next week ; the vet will check first to see if cancer has spread.
Never easy to get over the loss of a dog! My sympathies.
Never easy to lose a dog, I feel your pain. My condolences to you and your family.
Sorry to hear, they stay with you forever even after their gone
I feel your pain . It's never easy .
Sorry for your loss. Never a good time to lose a friend….
Research says we take the loss of a dog harder than the loss of a special human. If we lose a human, we have channels for grieving -- funerals, memorials, grief counseling. When we lose a dog, there are no avenues to come close to being able to grieve that loss appropriately. With people, we can speak with them, tell them we love them, say all the things we want or need to say. With dogs, they are so terribly special and we always wonder if they knew how much they mean to us.
This loss will hurt, and it will take inexplicably long to sort out your grief. Don't feel dumb. Loss is loss. You had a special bond and you'll need to let yourself sort through how crappy you feel. Dog people get it
That's not the way to go whether it be a canine or human. I'm really sorry for the lose of someone so close to you and your family...
Sorry for your loss of a great pal.

Hold tight to the memories of the good times
A very sad time, our dogs are truly our best friends. you will miss her most likely for ever, but will remember the good times as well. My yellow lab had cancer as well he was 11 also, been 2 years and i still think of him daily, doesn't help that I have a yellow now that looks like him. this post has brought tears to me, you will get over the loss, but never forget.
Sharon, factoid...you actually gave me the breeders name- Des O' Doherty, Abby was from his last litter.
Thank you for that!
Wow, that really makes me feel good. Thanks. Glad it worked out so well for you. :)
FYI , Des crossed over a month or so ago
Sorry for your loss!
