Nothing for me this year but my hunting partner got one.
I was successfull for WMU 60.
but plan to hunt before gun opener, with a bow for a couple days before the bush gets busy ... and if no luck, continue for gun opener.
I hope to harvest a buck this year, last year I had bucks under my cam almost daily, and once gun season started ... nothing after ! I assume the presence of other hunters pushed them out of the area ... there were groups running dogs not too far from me. I did harvest a doe on first day of gun opener.
Myself and at least 5 others in my group were unsuccessful in 47. Still waiting to hear from the last few guys.

Nuthin, I know I have two does and at least one with a single fawn hanging around so pretty happy not to take them as I got two does last year. Probably will get a chance at a 4 pointer as they usually come around real early looking for the ladies before the big boys are on the move.

Got a tag for 56 while my other 2 hunting partners got skunked.
I got an antlerless tag for 77c.
antlerless in 84 and bow tag for 85

For years now, wmu 65 has a 100% success. Many large bush lots being cut for open field corn/soybean fields is massive. The more bush cut the more deer will starve = more antlerless tags?

got a farmers tag and printed it off. antlered only but for the controlled can shoot a doe. odd. looks like if a doe walks by during the archery i'll be filling a buddys tag instead :P
ive been thinking the same with the Orangeville/Shelburne area for the last 4 years now too. been seeing alot of cyotes the past 2 years and not as many deer strolling around like 5 years ago.... or maybbbbbbeeee i just need to switch hunting spots ;) hahahQuote:
