I have my U.S packages delivered to a place call My Detroit address. Its right under the Ambassador bridge. Easy peasy! :)
The only thing to watch out for is don't ever try to bring a scope or ammo back to Canada. The ATF sets up random spot checks on the Detroit side. If your caught with these items your pretty much screwed! CBSA doesn't care about scopes or ammo, they are there to collect the tax $ :)
Years ago I used a guy in Niagara Falls (US side) who maintained a warehouse that stored items for pickup, I dont recall his name but here is a link to another warehouse I found doing a quick internet search that seems to do the same thing:
https://shiptotheborder.com/new-york...-niagara-falls
I would ship products purchased by me to the US located warehouse then pick up the items on the way back from holidays in Florida to take advantage of the duty allowances. Keep in mind, the CBSA knows of these locations so if you pick up something they will expect you to declare it. I bought a lot of winter clothing sold in the Southern US from folks who never used it, but now I mostly get it from the local Value Village, other than my outer camo layer.
Kinek.com They have spots at most border crossings. Simple to use.
I have relatives in Florida, so in the past I have had items shipped to them, and they then forward it to me.
Thanx guys-will try Kinek and let You know
Well -that did not work.....Links provided by Marker and Kinek are the same-they are not "around" notice comes thru -after registering
Well if all else fails it is an excuse to take a road trip holiday - probs make your wife happy. Just stay across the border long enough so that whatever you want fits into the allowed duty free amount. And actually the more people you bring with you the more stuff you can bring back if you spread it around. Kids are good for that.
In Port Huron, within a mile of the bridge there is a UPS depot. For $10 you can send to their address and pick up at your convenience. I’ve used it many times.
We use CBI Warehouse in Niagara Falls NY https://www.cbiusa.com/ Check their website..... It saves the cost of international shipping fees, and UPS or Fed Ex crazed custom charges of a flat rate $25-or 35 ..... However , some USA companies are or will not accept Canadian credit cards, and particularly when you use a different ship to address than that stated on the credit card... If your a frequent buyer talk to your bank about the credit card issue... CANADA customs are fair and reasonable, declare the items you have purchased, pay the GST if pulled over; you would have paid it here if you had it shipped to Canada. As one posting stated the USA border patrol do inspect vehicles leaving the USA that are suspect of carrying anything firearms related. Scopes, ammunition, are prime. Some distributors have a thing about shipping GARMIN product to Canada too! If you travel with a firearm to the USA your permit to travel with it will ask you to submit the amount , manufacture and gauge. You can purchase ammo in the states as long as it is the same as stated on your permit if you intend to return to Canada with it. The Canadian Customs give squat about what brand, but the USA border patrol are particular. Up to $20,000 fine and 6 years if convicted. PS make sure you travel over with a near empty gas tank - gas is at least 25% cheaper with not energy tax added.

I’ve been using this outfit for many years. You will have to cross and pick your stuff up. I have heard that there are US freight forwarders that will mail on to you, but have no experience as I’ve been steelhead fishing in the states for many many years and always crossed to pick up. I just schedule a pick up around a fishing trip! US address has been reliable for ages! As the other fella mentioned, be careful about buying ITAR controlled items. Odds are good you won’t get checked, but you could!
Awesome replies guys-appreciate it.
I have zero intention to buy anything "not to the liking of the local law".
I am into this TrueTimber winter clothing............hope it will be good stuff for the"pain and suffering".
If things work out-i may(not sure yet) order some other"not doubtful"items too.
Cheer and thanx again

I don’t know where you’re located and I haven’t used the service myself, but i notice there are amazon pickup boxes at locations near the niagara falls ny borders. One is particular is at the delta on miltary and porter packard.
Wrt canadian credit cards, when asked to enter your zip code, only use the numbers followed by 2 zero’s.
So, if your postal code is l2n 6b6, key in 26600 for a zip code. Also works at all US gas pumps
