Pup's first grouse

I was beginning think that a "textbook" grouse was going to elude Leia's first season. But yesterday brought a staunch point, a pinned bird and a retrieve to hand. On an Evil Southern Grouse no less, and all despite the loose nut behind the stock ;)

Congrats! It's no small feat. I can count on my fingers the number of times my dogs pinned ESG.

Thanks! My studious photography era faded away along with my Minolta 35mm, but even with my phone I'm still a stickler for composition ;)
