Biggest fish upto date.....

this one is a small mouth ...21" Long biggest to date for me

This one is a chinook caught probably 4 yrs ago in the river (spawned out)
46" in length, and my scale topped out at 60lbs!

This is a white sturgeon , 6'11" total caught approx 4 yr ago also .weight unknown., didnt have it out of water long enough (hence the quality cell phone pic)

some nice fish, I'd have to think that salmon is an ocean fish too? That would be a record for the Great Lakes I think.

salmon was out west sorry forgot to mention that , sturgeon also!....B.C. fraser valley! fraser river!
Bass is just outta the thames,

None of the fish were eaten, i had froze the salmon to get it stuffed and mounted, and then the next outting i caught a 42" salmon also, same girth.

That Salmon is insanely big..

Could get a decent pic of a 400-450lb, 8-10 ft blue marlin released off the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, but have caught three white sturgeon of 72 inches each and all weighing in the 150-180lb range. Here's one...

nice sturgeon...I caught my first last week a 4 footer in detroit river on light tackle for walleye...55 min fight just to have it break my line up at the boat. really cool looking fish I cant imagine trying to lift that sucker up.

Were you with a guide? I dont believe they recommend picking them up out of water or noosing them due to damaging the tail fin - try googling it some states have banned picking them out of the water. Thats prob a 20-30 year old fish and every fish counts with their declining population...hopefully the photo op was worth the risk?
