Best hunting gloves ??

What are people here using for hunting gloves ? I've been through about 6 different pairs and everyone is the same problem within a hour or two my fingers start getting cold and within 2.5 my hands are frozen.
I'm eyeing up these this year the Under Armour Primer gloves:

My main thing with gloves is:
-I don't want the glove to be bulky, something I can still shoot the trigger with
-Thermal insulation, something that will retain the heat
-Weather proof/Windproof, if possible

I've tried both the Under Armour Primer and Redhead Millennial gloves on. I like the UA ones because the have Primaloft in them, as I'm finding Thinsulate really doesn't hold the warm of your hand well. The Redhead ones are nice but BPS has them at $50,and they seem cheaply made. Neither the Cabelas or Hillman ones I've seen in person. I'm just wondering what everyone else is using or what you might recommend I look at.

I have a few sets of Cabela's Pinnacle gauntlets. They keep you pretty warm but are too bulky to shoot with for me. I will take them off and just use my bare finger. They are waterproof, and since they are a gauntlet work well if you are driving a boat or quad to keep the wind, rain and cold from coming in around the cuff. I have several since moose season usually means rain so I can dry one set and put a new dry one on. They go on sale quite often and come in camo or black.

Are these for when you are sitting in a tree stand? or walking around?

I use super thin bowhunting gloves or turkey hunting gloves. They are comfortable and have great feel. They are not warm. I stay warm with a fleece muff (http://www.basspro.com/RedHead-Camo-...duct/10221151/) with a couple hot hands. Works great in even super cold weather.

I do not like wearing gloves whilst hunting. As I mainly chase waterfowl, and cannot call with gloves. I do however always wear gloves for the setup and tear down. I find if I can get my hands dry and cut free, once the hunt starts the gloves are gone. When it is crazy cold I do resort to hand warmers in both pockets. There are no gloves out there that will get you warm, mitts are the way to go for that.

Both, ether walking out or pushing the bush, and sitting in the treestand or ground location ( not in a blind). They will be used in late Oct for moose and the 1st two weeks of Nov for deer. The temp ranges from -10 to +10 so those are the ranges I'm hunting in. Anything warmer then that I have a pair of light weight gloves I wear but I'm looking for something that will cover me in the temp ranges listed.

I picked up a pair of Manzella gloves at Le Baron.... used them four wheeling last weekend and once they got a little bit wet they got ruined. hoping they are ok for the hunt this year once they dry right out. I use gloves for walking to/from stand and while sitting in the stand, usually take them off to shoot, unless I have to make the shot with them on.

I also would like to find a great pair of warm gloves, especially when your sitting all day long.

I ended up picking up a pair of the Under Armour Primer gloves from Sail when they had the 15% hunting items. They've got 6oz of Primaloft in them plus the Armour storm fabric. I've never owned anything with Primaloft in them but from what I found online it seems a lot better then thinsulate. I also own a pair of Browning Hells Caynon gloves and Gamehide with 40grams of thinsulate. I wanted to get and try the Hillman ones but by the time shipping and taxes were add, they were close to $80. Worst part is it doesn't look like I'm going to be going out for anything this fall. Seen the Foot and Ankle specialist last Monday and I've done more damage to my ankle then I thought.

Primaloft is great, I use it as my insulation layer lowers/uppers, but when it comes to gloves I just dont know if theres any single solution. Ive tried many and have many. I tend to be the most comfortable using a thinner pair and kangaroo pouch that on bitterly cold days I can drop a hand warmer or two into.

I'm also a fan, and user, of the thin or no gloves and fleece muff with hot hands. I've never found a glove that keeps me warm, but a muff with hot hands keeps my hands toasty right to -20 and more. Same goes when we are ice fishing.

I like a thin leather glove that fits tight enough to shoot with .I wear them mostly for dogging thru the rough stuff to keep my hands from getting cut up from all the stickys ,,,mitts are the way to go when it gets real cold just pull them off when you shoot ,,Dutch

Here's a great secret from my winter camping excursions. A simple pair or surgical gloves under any glove will increase the temperature ten fold and still provide excellent dexterity. A thin pair of manzellas or UA coupled with surgical gloves are toasty and great for trigger finger touch.

if you just want to stay warm mitts are the only want to go ,for walking I like a leather thin glove for the pickers and stickers ,but for sitting a pair of good mitts cannot be beat ,,Dutch

My hands get cold late in the season when on stand, I bow hunt mostly, I've never found a "glove" thats effective, I now just go with a good pair of wool mitts, they come off quite as a whisper, weigh nothing and keep my hands toasty warm.

Down muff hand warmer around the waste. Then you don't need gloves.

Not cold weather gloves, but they are waterproof .... the "go to" glove for the US military, US olympic team, etc

Hanz makes waterproof socks too!
