I have a box of those, work great and pattern well in my ML. Considering they are the same calibre as a .32 round, when you can load 15 or so in each shot, you get a whack of killing power. I was designing my load for raccoons and skunks in the barnyard.
Do you shoot from a .32 black powder gun... or a .50 loaded in barrel? Sorry if I am confused. I have a .50 cal BP, but only use the slugs.
I have 2 barrels for my ML the .50 and a 12 ga....I liked shooting Black Powder so much I had to buy the 12 ga barrel so I could hunt Turkey with it..great fun !!
So I bought a bunch of 12 ga reloading stuff ( plus bags of #5, #6 , #7 shot) and use the wads and shot cups etc with Black Powder.
Also bought a bunch of '0', '00' and '000' shot for small game....can't see why not have more opportunities with the ML !! :)
So when you loading shot gun load for BP how do you keep the "shot" from falling out. From the sounds of it I can't use my BP .50 for shot shells. Think I will YouTube it to see what others do..intriguing.
By using a cardboard "top wad ".Quote:

Ya that is cool....
I'm always looking for suitable buck to make squib loads for handgun and rifle fun. If it's oversize I can swage it down in the resizing dies but 5lb would last me forever... A 30 cal lead ball at 5-600 fps is deadly on snowshoes or grouse, plus it's nice and quiet on the deer or moose watch.
Here's a pic I did awhile back to show the size comparison for '00' which is .33 and a .50 cal ball. The .32 would be a little smaller but the perfect size for a squirrel gun.
