Browning 12 ga. pump (BPS Hunter) 30" bbl. Have taken well over 2 dozen birds with it and all but 2 with 2 3/4 in. shells. Mostly #5 shot but a few with 6s and one with 4s. All birds with standard full choke........................Boog
Right on. Sounds like a good gun boogaloo
Remington 870 Express Mag it's my "do everything" shotgun, just pick a gun you like that has the capability to do what you want, (suitable gauge) then work with different chokes and shells. You don't need separate shotguns for different species.
1966 Belgian Browning A5 12 guage. 3 inch magnum with fixed full choke.
Honestly, any full choke shotgun will do!

Browning gold 12ga. 30" barrel with an undertaker choke shooting winchester 3" #6. I've killed birds stone dead at 50+ yrds. I absolutely love the patterns I get.
Mossy 535 and nothing but fedarel flight control wad 5s three inch killed many birds with this combo now I have switched to A rem 1187 in 20g still shooting the Feds with the flight control wads I just love these shells. Dutch
Remington 870 super mag 12g smooth bore with tru glo turkey choke here . Awesome gun does it all
Ya I actually have a rem 870 express mag 28" barrel and use a rem super full turkey choke. And have shot a couple birds over 30 yards. I was considering getting a specific turkey gun thinking most had a specific gun as well.
I don't think u can ever have too many guns..
I agree with u topher lol. The more the better
I have a Mossberg 935 that has taken about a dozen birds, an 870 Magnum with turkey barrel and Rem turkey choke that has taken a few as well (it is short and I shoot it out of my small pop-up blind in bad weather and when there is limited cover) and a Super X3 that knocks em dead every time (so far, touch wood). I find thefederal flight control wads to be the key. They often run a promotion where you can get a Thermacell with a purchase of two boxes at BPS. I also like the Primos Tight Wad chokes. They are inexpensive, but pattern well in my guns. I shoot an Undertaker choke with the 870 and it patterns great with #6, but mediocre with 4 and 5. So I agree that most shotguns will work, but spend a few extra bucks on the shells. A turkey choke also extends your range a fair bit depending on the rig.
I us the factory turkey choke .in my 535 mossy .dutch
Super Black Eagle II, 3 1/2 in chamber, camo, extended choke, a.k.a. my baby.
Benelli Super Nova, carlson turkey choke with 3.5 Remington Nitro #5
I used to lug around a Beretta semi but have switched to this little tactical Mossberg and will never go back. When you are all crouched up and leaning on a tree or hiding behind cover that adjustable stock is fabulous. When you are walking you just collapse the thing and throw it over your shoulder and it doesn't hang up on branches. Nice and light too. Ugly as hell but to me its just a tool. Also I would never hunt turkey again without a red dot. You sight that thing in properly and its deadly.

I love that mossberg tactical terrym looks like a lethal killer. That is what I am lookin for
I use a Mossy 535 with the 28" barrel and Kicks GT .655 ported choke. I love this set up for turkeys. With Winchester Super X 3" 1 7/8oz #5 I can put 18 pellets in a kill zone at 40 yards. Best set up I have tried. I have an 870 and BPS as well but like the lighter Aluminum recieverd Mossberg better for turkeys.
3.5" shells out of this gun are killer though, I've gotten yellow face bruises from the muzzle jump even with recoil pad lol
Very cool. I like all the opinions being set forth here gives lots of insight
Mossberg 500 with xxfull choke that came with it and Rem#5 shells
Browning Silver with a Patternmaster Code Black choke, and 3.5" Winchester Supreme #6s. Great patterns out to 50+ yards.

Mossberg 500 20 gauge with 24" barrel, fiber optic sights, and extra full turkey choke.
Came as part of the 3 barrel Mossberg combo. Like Terry M's its fast becoming my go to gun for just about everything.
Terry, where did you get the tactical stock for yours?
It came like that from the factory. It has an 18.5" barrel also. I think they may dropped my model now though.
Ya the mossbergs seem to b gaining a lot of popularity these days
