Try the west arm of nippissing. I have caught plenty of pike in the shallow bays the one time I went there.. threw crank baits and jigs.
West Arm has pike tournament this weekend. check out top50pike.com website and see results from past events to figure out where you can find bigger fish. West Arm is a small fish area typically. We fish West Arm Lavigne area last weekend and avg was just under 24" for the field and big fish was 77cm. We were 10th with a 25" avg.
Cache Bay in Sturgeon Falls is the Pike capitol for your lake.
Big fish are active in Huntsville currently
Callander bays ok upper 28 inch range though not quite what your looking for.
i don't really mind catching the smaller ones the only one i've caught in the last couple years is a little baby pike the other day i just enjoy fishing for pike with my son
nosbonsing is good for numbers, but dont catch alot of big ones out there... trout lake has some giants in it, can be hard to find though... also fish bay out in the south shore is worth a shot
try cache bay in sturgeon falls
my friend was out there yesterday rackman not even a nibble
thats crazy try the weeds closer to the water tower have alway done great with white spinner baits just look for cabage that grows to a couple of feet below the surface
The big pike tournament was held out there last week, probably makes a lot of the fish gun shy for a time.
The guy beside me caught these like they where sunny's. Tons of pike and its in the middle of the town.
