Really nice pics. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the thumbs up guys.
I did a little research after seeing the 4 cubs, thank goodness for google. Seems they may have up to 5 cubs but that is rare.
2 or 3 for a mature sow is the norm....so they say.

Thanks for sharing. I've got pics of 3 cubs several times - but never 4.
-
Great pics...Never seen 4 myself, but 3 many times..
The record is 6 and I have only seen pics of 5 cubs in pictures on the web....

We had a small sow with 4 cubs down by Fenelon Falls about three years ago. The MNR came out and tranquilized her in her den. She was on the game cameras all summer, then lost the smallest runt cub by August. The remaining three looked healthy.

my neighbour seen a sow with 5 cubs last year, we werent sure if she had all 5 or if maybe the mother of 2 or 3 died, and she "adopted" them lol pretty cool either way...

Spectacular! Thanks for posting!

Very cool. You know times are well when there's lots of triplets and even quads. We all know how well fed they were last year.
Farmer up the road told me about a sow and four cubs in the neighborhood just last week.
Cheers
