Pine Marten
tough to call without seeing the neck. In general Martins are a lighter brown than a Fisher but that doesn't show well in the pic.
I would say pine marten fishers are larger with their eyes being farther apart
I think pine marten. Ears seem to be somewhat pointed as opposed to rounded like a fishers. But i would not bet my life on it lol.
That be a marten.
That's a small fisher, tail is to dark for a marten and the fur appears to be silver gray.I`ve trap 15 to 20 a year
Too hard to tell without a size reference, so my answer will simply be "squirrel exterminator".
Thats a tough one....
I'm going to say smaller fisher because it looks a bit heavier built than a marten and the tail looks thicker....Really hard to say though....
A field biologist friend of mine says no doubt about it; its a fisher.
I saw one with my own eyes in the same spot last winter, except it was bigger. Amazing the way it moved across the forest floor and over/under logs; it didn't walk, crawl or trot. It "flowed".
