We had a great morning, just wish it lasted longer, but we beat the heat. 19 down by 7:15 and that was all she wrote we stuck around a couple more hours and my buddy made some impressive shots on a couple doves to add to the pile, credit goes to my bud Craig for setting this field up for us. :thumbup:

Nice job. Congrats. Great start to the season. Just not seeing the birds in my area. A buddy limited on doves yesterday morning. Supposed to go and give it a try tomorrow.
The birds I usually scout are in a sweet corn field where others have had permission for years, I have a wheat field close by that a few are still hitting so we are going to try to setup in there tomorrow afternoon... They fly a long ways for that sweet corn every year.
Yeah I know of some sweet corn fields just outside London that holds tons of birds. There isn't even a lot of cut wheat fields in my area so things are pretty limited right now.
where going to try a wheat field tommorrow also birds have been at it almost everyday just wondering how to cover the blinds since it has been cover cropped with clover just use grass i would think on the blinds?
Use what is in the field and try to blend it in

In this area Ducks Unlimited are not that popular. They are the second largest land owner in Camrose County, second only to the Hutterites. They have tied up all this land that no one is allowed to hunt on. The locals believe they use this Canadian land to grow and export Ducks for the American Hunter, and after driving around this area, I tend to agree with them.
I was more talking about the weatherby sticker. I have the same one on my truck. I thought you could hunt on ducks unlimited land? I thought that I had read that on another recent thread.
