That's Boone and Crockett material right there.....by at least 20 points! I don't usually do this,...but I'll help get him if you like!!:o
Wow...sausage, steak, roast, jerky and ground chuck....that is all I see...but nice rack...on the deer.
hey neighbor, I can come and take care of that for ya.
For me, that buck would fall into the "don't show anyone" category. Good luck. Hope to see hero shots with him shortly.
Awesome buck, nice to know there are some big guys out there, best of luck!
If I knew he was in my neck of the woods I'd save my tag and hunt him every time I went out right up until end of light on Dec 31.
Good luck, hope to see the success story posted in the coming months.
sweet looking buck
What a beauty!
Amazing, thx for sharing
Good luck!
Very Nice Buck.
what a beauty!!!
He's a dandy Werner hope he hangs around for the after picture....FB
Really nice buck! That daytime pic will be in the back of your mind all season. Good luck!
Wow nice buck
I've seen him several times during the day since June - usually about 100 yards away across a field. He seems pretty tolerant of people, but I'm sure his behavior will change soon. My thoughts on bow hunting are that if you want to arrow a deer you've been watching all fall, you've got until about Oct 25th to do it and then everything changes. Planning on taking Thursday/Friday off. I've already shared my info with a couple of guys (brother/nephew) who own the adjacent property - but neither of them has a lot of time available to hunt. This is about 100 yards from the line fence. There is also a spike buck there, but he seems to avoid the cameras - but I do have 1 picture of him when he was still in velvet.
What I do know about the nice bucks I've seen in years past on camera....odds of getting them are really, really low. Still haven't got my first archery deer yet.
He is a dandy buck Werner! best of luck this fall on him. If you decide to hold off for a bigger one, I'll take him for you, I pack a mean lunch also! :)
Beautiful Buck!! Knock him down!
hope you get a crack at him
I see he comes in the morning and evening..........regular feeding time...........if you havent got him in 30 days,,,,,,,,spread some doe pee
That's one dandy buckaroo Werner!
Looking forward to reading about your hunt whether you get him or not.
Good Luck!
I zoomed quite far and I'd be willing to bet he's a 14pt. Seems to have at least 2 or 3 extra points that would be over 1" each.
Good luck Werner. Although, if the land abutting yours are fairly protected, I guess you could always consider letting him go to continue spreading that impressive genetic legacy.
That's a beauty buck, Werner! Good luck!
Wow good luck with him Werner
The land is heavily hunted and he's lived this long. WOW. You'll need to catch a break Warner but I'm pulling for you.
Dan O.
WOW He's a beaut.
That is one amazing brute. What a rack. I couldn't even begin to guess what it would score. Good luck with him.
Cheers
Nice buck and apple pile! I try to pick my own wild apples but haven;t seen much this year on the tress... anyone else finding the same thing in your area?
That guy is a beast, the kind I dream about. I hope you get close enough to stick him!
I have a friend near Casselman that I get apples from - I picked up 8 5 gallon buckets - that's what you see on the ground there. But the property has many, many wild apple trees as well. The only apples the deer really, really like is the one's I buy from maclarens in Renfrew. They are similar to the ones I get in Casselman - but the deer can tell the difference. Lots of oaks in the area to which makes October baiting pretty inconsistent.
I am waiting for Wolfhunter to weigh in on these photos... I am sure he will have some major critique of your use of apples!!!!
That is one heck of a buck, good luck with him, I look forward to seeing pics of your smiling face beside that rack.
Nice deer but sharing information even if very general of the whereabouts you hunt or hes living can come back and bite you, may be people on here know you, have an idea where you live etc and will get "buck fever" and all ethics are gone. next thing you know you have more guys getting permission all around/on top of you. seen it happen to friends as well as myself once. buddy of mine posted a pic on another site, there were 2 guys from windsor who eventually admitted to putting the puzzle pieces together after being confronted in the bush, they left a truck parked on the back tractor path for the week before first muzzleloader and my friend figured somone was always hunting it and stayed out, only to find they were arriving in a different vehicle to hunt bascially locking up the small bush for the week. friend caught on and investigated. all in all he hasnt posted a picture since, actually only waterfowl hunts now
there are some good bucks in prescott-russell very thankful to be a local and have access to private land here.
but this is one of the best ive seen on the hoof recently
What a monster
Awesome says it all
Did you ever see this lad again on camera or otherwise.
He was coming in regular - but mostly at night until Oct 3. I took a couple days off at the start of bow season to try to get him and I think I put too much heat on him - he disappeared from that point (Oct 3). I think I saw him when we were hunting on my brothers farm 1/2 mile away during rifle - but it was across a field - hard to tell though. He hasn't shown up either of my cameras since - I'm hoping he'll be back for late bow.
As far as people sneaking in - the ones I have to worry about most are related to me - not internet unknowns.
Good luck Werner. I hope you or your relatives get him. It would be a great family thing to talk about.
That's a very good looking buck.
Trail cam malfunction so no pics. Can't be sure, but something is leaving steer sized tracks around the bait pile - I think he made it through the rifle season. Still trying for him with the bow, but trying to limit visits to the area to 1 or 2 a week.
The suspense is killing me! Go get him already!!!
That's a beauty, Werner!
Giant buck.....With day light pics as well....
Have you got any other pics of him lately? I'd love to see him in full rut mode.,...
Monster ;) Hoping the best for you.. Patients is the key too getting this monster.. Put some time in and before you know it he might just walk out for you.. Keep us posted please ;)
Looks like he made it through deer season. Found one of his sheds yesterday.

Good stuff. Looking back at the trail cam pics he's young (3 1/2). Imagine when he's mature.
