you got that right .if it was not for the wind I would be in the stand right now .but dam she is blowing .going to be blowing for a few days by the sound of it .Dutch
I can't believe the dump Buffalo is getting - some areas over 4 fricken feet!
Good news is we will be able to follow the deer runs.
I gather they will be forming trails now that we have that much depth
Ahhh, it'll be +10 by Sunday....all this will be like a bad dream :)
Time to freshen up the bait piles no question....!!!
Lol. I was notified today that my planned trip to buffalo is no longer required as the shop I was going to visit will be closed with the expected four feet of snow. Lol.
Very windy out here in Kitchener Waterloo area.
The southern part of Buffalo could be close to 6 feet before the wind slows down and changes direction.
It's part of global warming
 :mad::mad: Cancelled my bowhunt today. I absolutely HATE this weather.
Yeah we need ever thaw that comes along to shorten this winter that's for sure. I hope next week is all above 0C to give these deer a break.
We should not reduce doe tags though, that would be an abomination :P.
I am worried about this year, we shall see how it all works out.
Worse than the snow would be ice in and amongst this snow, those hard layers with the snow make it a lot harder on the deer than snow on its own.
my blind just blew away :P
ice can bring down a lot of trees and branches that is the deers main food source all winter .the deer on are farms are hiding down in the gullys in the swamps were the cedars block the wind .I bumped 4 last night on the walk out .just a little to far for a shot .if you want to hunt In this weather find some deep gullys and work your way thru really slow with the wind in your face .you will find deer .Dutch
