boyds stocks

I am looking for a boyds stock for my savage axis 22 250 .anybody in Ontario have one thy want to part with .Dutch

You can order directly from Boyd's. They are Canadian friendly (unless the word "tactical" is in the name.)

Believe they can sell to Canada as long as the sale price is below 100 U$.ITAR or arms trade rule or something...........The S and H does not count in the 100 U$-so you could be good to go since most stuff is below 100$ on their website anyway. Good luck.

It's just a piece of wood till you put an action and barrel in it. Mine came in the mail..

Mine came in the mail as well. Stock was $150 and $52 shipping+duty. Not bad. I Love my Prairie Hunter on my .22-250 Tikka.

that is a good deal I am looking to do the trigger as well as mine is about the worst trigger I have ever felt ,any thoughts on a trigger for the savage axis in 22 250 , as is she shoots great groups at less then one inch at 100 yards but the trigger just sucks .thanks Dutch

Timney makes triggers for axis. They are great but over $100. Almost half the price of the gun lol.....

Wow-if so,i am looking forward for a new stock for my Ruger American(was hesitant with that purchase ,since the stock for it is just a tad over 100 U$)Thanks for the info.GBK

Let me know how the stock fits.. been looking at one for my 270... but don't want to find out the barrel doesn't bed good etc..

If you're shooting sub MOA groups with this rifle, the trigger can't be all that bad.:confused:

I got ordered a Boyd's prairie hunter nutmeg stock for my savage axis .270win stainless when they first came out- looks great, and much more rigid fore end then that cheap plastic stock it came with.

I also put a rifle basix adjustable trigger in it - for those asking about after market triggers, this one is awesome. breaks like glass at 2.5lbs. The original was over 6lbs.

I slowly made the upgrades over time and as finances became available, its a great rifle
