I found a brand new one in the states. I should have it here in Ontario in a few weeks. Then I will be asking the smokless experts here for advise on tips for optimal loads.

I am on a mission to locate a Savage ML10 II with the accu trigger. I have lots of time before next controlled hunt but would like to get my hands on one. Seems to be an almost impossible task now that they are no longer in production....
If anybody has a lead on a good used one let me know...

I just checked EE for you and the only post there is from someone wanting to buy one right now. My advice is monitor the site daily and if you come across one is pounce on it. They usually sell within 24 hours. 5 guys in our moose camp use them. They are the ultimate muzzleloader but need to be handled properly.

For sure. There is a dealer in the states that has a pile of the last production ones made. He just cranked the price up to 1999.00. That is insane for a muzzleloader.Quote:

My buddy bought 2 in Quebec last year. ML hunting not that popular yet out there. I would check out Quebec dealers, might get lucky.
2 Quebec 10's were sold on Nutz a couple weeks ago.
I have been eyeing one in the states brand new in the box but the price tag is a bit steep!!

I use the Leopold ultimate slam in 3X9X40-- works great on the Savage ML 11, Just a recommendation!
Have a 3-9 ultimate slam on mine but wish I went the route your thinking vx ii 3-9 as my ultimate is just a fixed 4-5 power if you don't want to mess up your graduation's.
