Aroma De pepe le pew this morning on my drive to work
Definite sign of spring. I had a raccoon raiding my cracked corn last night and today there's a Canada Goose across the road in my neighbour's hay field. Spring has sprung!
Yes, although not quite here yet spring is in the air. The crazy neighbor ladies cats are pizzing all over the place.
Spring has definitely sprung. The dog poop that spent the winter under the snow is appearing. :(
Used to hate his time of year Sharon when I had my dogs.
Tough to pick that stuff up off the grass after a long winter and the Spring thaw.
Ended up teaching them to run down the side of the house and do their
business on the rocks... Quick hose down and it was gone.
Loved those dogs...

So funny, a young couple came this afternoon to see my daughters car that is for sale in my secondary gravel driveway. It was surrounded by (you guessed it) Milou poo...lol
I had to provide the young lad with a couple of rags to clean off his $200 designer running shoes. Go figure, they left in a huff and puff and did not buy the car....lol
ROFLMBO :)
Actually funny you brought this up as I had to hit the binders hard this morning, was on my way to work driving well below posted speed due to a real heavy dense fog when out of no where there is a huge skunk right in front of me. I was able to go around him and let him live thankfully but it was tense for a few.
yes, have had the smell around the house the last 2 mornings, checking tonight to make sure somehow they are not under the deck.
had a lone robin at our feeder about a month ago during that real cold snap but no sign of him after about 2 days.
Man that sucks....one smell I hate and one that is tough to get rid of.
Tell me about it. Neighbor two doors over doesn't leash their dog and I have had to scoop and fling to his yard numerous times - sad thing is they realize dog is doing it (new house, no grass so dog went to lots with grass) yet he doesn't do anything about it. Not looking forward to the meltdown - hopefully they will take the hint when they see a mound of poop that I leave in their yard.
Really don't care if your dog craps on my lawn - just clean it up. My family doesn't need to step in it.

CALTEK, Had that same problem a few ( quite a few ) years ago with a neighbors cat, approached the lady and asked if it was okay if my kids came over and S*%T in her backyard, resounding NO. So told her to then have her cat to stop S$%Ting in ours. look on her face was priceless.

yep springs here lol
Double header. Well done

New neighborhood so trying not to ruffle too many feathers. My approach will depend on how many land mines I come across with the thaw. Not so bad when they are frozen but when thawed out
If I ever catch the dog in the act I will make sure to take a photo or video for proof.
I'm pretty convinced that somebody in my neighbourhood has their dog trained to lay landmines in a grid pattern around our public mailbox. Sidewalk, grass, road, it doesn't matter. At least the junk mail is good for wiping fudge off of my shoes.
On another note, had two moose cross the road in front of the truck this morning on the way back from the cottage. Nice to see wildlife on the move again
Since the snow has melted some, I've picked up at least 8 big bags of poop on the conservation area path.( Good way to lose weight.) :)
The irresponsible dog owners are cutting their own throats. Everyone runs their dogs off leash in that area with no problems. However, once the hikers and bird watchers appear , they will be ticked ( and rightfully so), the MNR will be called, and the tickets will fly. Foolish dog owners.
