Called the old Co-op. Told him we we're wanting to come in for a visit/shop/look around after breakfast some saturday. He was overjoyed. The only sat sun I would prefer it NOT be is April 18-19 as that is Perth gun show. Any other weekend should fly for me
I would suggest some time mid-late may. Lots of turkey hunting and spring chores most of us need to get finished up before spending most of a Saturday eating and shopping and gossiping like a bunch of hens! ;)

Fox had suggested the Marlborough as a venue for a bite to eat. It is within walking distance of the Co-Op so I am good with that.
Wes may even join us for brunch.

Trailer park is open 01 May 2015, so i will say tenative for now... most of my chores should be done for opening trailer.
Got my Turkey DVD last night and booked on Sat 18 at 4pm for test at That H&F Store in Ricmond. 27-28 April booked off work to head to hunt camp for opener and hopefully first turkey near Merrickville.
You know with all us guys, I think a fun shoot is order at a range or someone's property. Sure would be fun to have clay shoot. I have two boxes of clays and a thrower, just need a property, menu, BBQ and refreshments or Range. Would like to shoot the BP agian with 250/325gr casts... Just a thought...

No wheels and in need of some time at the house, 2 weeks tomorrow to the wedding and I have to figure out the property before that time as well as sort out any final wedding details.
Fun times, very little sleep.
No go for me, trailer time...with family this weekend...Wife's brother...can't bail on them...it is too painful to bear...the wife wrath. Sorry guys...still want shoot clays, but if we can in during week.

I'll be in the area on Saturday morning, so I will try to stop off at The Old Co-Op and report in here, since that seemed to be part of the initial interest in getting together.
I stopped in at the Old Co-Op on my way home from a turkey hunt on Saturday. Since they are supposed to carry reloading supplies, and I am looking for a few specific items, my focus was on this. As usual, they had very little stock. Every time I go there, I get the same story about how they will be carrying more stuff in the future, but so far it hasn't happened.
Anyways, they had an Excalibur Micro, so I finally got to handle one. It is a nice crossbow and is really compact. I will probably get one in the future. They had a decent selection of ammunition.
If you are looking for something specific let them know and put an order in for them, they can get a lot of stuff in specifically for you.Quote:
