What "Cue's" Does Your Dog Pick Up On?
I find it amazing, how our dogs learn our individual "Cue's" and what they mean.
We all know/have the typical ones "want to go outside" "want to go for a car ride" or their reaction when you grab the lead, or collar.
But what other ones does your best friend have?
The ones I find interesting are when I'm working from home and she's laying in the office, could be dead asleep and snoring, but as soon as I hit the Windows Key + L to lock my computer and that "da ding" tone plays she bolts up, sits, and tail going a mile a minute, knowing I'm leaving the office and there's a chance we may be going somewhere.
She does the same when I lock my cellphone and it makes the click.
Neat how she associates hearing that sound with me getting up to go do something.
She also goes bat $h1t crazy when the suitcases come out. We travel quite a bit throughout the fowl season, and vacation season and she knows what the luggage means.
started packing last night for our turkey trip and she's been huffing and pacing non stop since, poor pup doesn't know she isn't coming on this one.
What sets your dog off?
What "Cue's" Does Your Dog Pick Up On?
If I open cheese my current dog will run in like she is on fire. She could be in the basement and she cues.
My old guy that left us at Christmas would hear the train horn when I used to ride it that was about a mile from our house. He would run to the back gate of a Vegetable field we backed onto and would wait for me.
