He should get 3 years in with those that got life and were abused children ...

The counselling to commit sexual assault relates to an online interaction Levin had over several weeks with an undercover police officer posing as a mother interested in sexually abusing her young daughter.
“He recklessly pursued his selfish sexual desires, all the while knowing a young girl could be abused,” McArthur said, adding that the “gravity of his crimes is serious.”
Levin pleaded guilty to three charges earlier this year. He had been on $100,000 bail since his arrest in July 2013.
The Harvard-educated Levin left his research and teaching duties at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education after he was charged.
Levin had a “pedophilic interest” in adolescents and travelled to Amsterdam to meet a British father with whom he had previously exchanged photos and sexual descriptions of children, his sentencing hearing heard last month.
...
Levin served as deputy education minister in both Manitoba and Ontario, and was part of Premier Kathleen Wynne’s transition team after Dalton McGuinty stepped down in early 2013.
Leave this POS in general pop. Then there will be actual justice.
Yes, Kathleen Wynne sure picked a great guy to run her education ministry and write sex ed curriculum didn't she? I hope this monster get's to know what sexual abuse means in prison. Child molesters aren't exactly liked in prison I am told.
I wonder where he will serve the time.
I am not sure what to say. The loathing that I have for this issue has me stumped for words, or rather, stumped to express them without risking the use of expletives and/or other discriptions that would potentially land me in jail.
Sorry boys, he will go somewhere filled with scum as bad as ,and sometimes much worse than him.
And he will be released much earlier than many would expect.
Maybe someone will fill his tank soon.
My guess is he gets put somewhere safe and it won't be for very long either. He is a Liberal still. The other thing is this sicko might actually enjoy being some big lonely inmate's.....date. :scream: I mean his curriculum certainly makes a point of normalizing that right? Did he not include anal sex in it? Wanna bet he commits suicide?
My bet is he goes to a cushy "Club Fed",does zero hard time and with triple time for "time served",good behavior and every other credit his Liberal pals can scrape off the bottom of their collective sandals,he's out in under 12 months. I will also absolutely bet that the media will bury this deeper than bubba's...................well,let's not go there,OK? LOL
Unfortunately with his sentence being 3 years he will do it at the federal level which will likely result in him doing a third of it and then parole. He will go to a general jail for evaluation and likely be assigned to a lower risk prison. If he had of gotten a sentence lower than two year his time would have actually been a bit harder at the provincial level.
There is no sentence fitting.
My heart goes out to the victims and their families that will deal with this well beyond 3 years of his sentence. I have a hard time believing this is something they will ever forget.
I also can't help but think if the cop who's job it is to work in this capacity to catch these people. I know they get paid well but I couldn't stomach it. I had the opportunity to speak to the officer in this case and while he wouldn't speak of the specifics as it was still before the courts he did tell me of cases like it and what they did. I have seen some bad things and have the stomach to gut any animal out there but hearing what they see, hear, and do to catch these people had my heart pounding out of my chest. The sounds and images that must be burnt into their brains. No where near the actual victims but still bad.
I've very briefly seen some of the stuff the perv squad deal with on a day-to-day basis. I'll never understand how they handle it. I do know that the burn out rate is high and de-briefing can be a long and tedious process for some folks. God bless'em,every one of them.
I have done several joint projects with Project P. Here is a link to a talk given by the Sgt. in charge. Gives you a little insight into some of the difficulties they encounter as well as the scope of the problem.
