Implications of who you vote for and what the media won't talk about.

There are implications to who you cast your vote for, being a Harper hater without a real reason is falling into the propaganda of those who have a specific desire for what they want Canada to be. First what do you want your gov't to be, honest? allow freedoms? more taxes? less freedoms? more national debt? disregard suffering people or help? accountable or hide funds and recipients? etc.

The outright twisted distortions on the reduced health care and $36 billion in cuts, the increase was reduced from 6% to 3.3% (still ahead of inflation by 1%) and they don't tell you to get that much they had to stretch it out to 12 years. These distorted attack ads are the manufacture of a California group that won't disclose who is funding them, it isn't even a Canadian organization. NDP would put it back to 6% each year, bankrupting Canada at that rate.

- billions in taxes in the gov't pockets and higher unemployment as companies leave Canada as fast as they have left Ontario
- NDP promise to add $36 Billion to health care spending (who will pay for that?)
- firearm laws (using Liberal's own words).. using an Australian model or some unclear but legal firearm owner punitive laws.
- carbon taxes
- a friend to criminals (C-24, roll back C-36 legalizing pimping, Jons and prostitution ("a form of violence against women" - Justin Trudeau), rollback mandatory sentences, roll back accountability on reserves allowing corruption to continue, roll back Union disclosure bill (allowing hidden corruption to continue) etc. )
- anti-family, roll back family income splitting, reduce/rollback cheques to parents, candidates must be pro-abortion, only benefits if you use their daycare program.
- hundreds of millions more spent on CBC (won't disclose spending even to gov't, est $26 million in lawyers so far), CTV, Bell, Global don't get $90,000,000 per month.
- essentially anti-family and extremely anti traditional family, fine with gender based abortions, late term abortions etc. and to be a candidate you must be pro-abortion.
- accountability by Chiefs and reserves (over $5B per year) and Unions will be returned to hidden and undisclosed.
- clueless money management (Justin Trudeau - "budgets balance themselves"), soaring debt (NDP in Ontario, 3X in 5 years, Pierre Trudeau (10X the debt)

Harper and the Conservatives have done more for gun owners than any government, while also supporting conservation. All the money invested in conservation somehow gets lost in the media - for instance the new Asia carp lab in Burlington - and the Conservatives are painted as anti-environmental. Just remember if the NDP are already talking about allowing provinces and municipalities to ban handguns, what's next? Implementing UN firearms policies alone will cripple the Canadian gun industry. Think before you vote.

It seems ironic to me that the government that hails on spending more money than anybody in the entire universe, on one thing or another, is still so hell bent on not having a responsible program for guns.

We are not talking about gun owners; we are talking about guns. We expect people to register their cars. There are serial numbers on cars. - billions in taxes in the gov't pockets and higher unemployment as companies leave Canada as fast as they have left Ontario
- firearm laws (using Liberal's own words).. using an Australian model or some unclear but legal firearm owner punitive laws.
- carbon taxes
- a friend to criminals (C-24, roll back C-36 legalizing pimping, Jons and prostitution ("a form of violence against women" - Justin Trudeau), rollback mandatory sentences, roll back accountability on reserves allowing corruption to continue, roll back Union disclosure bill (allowing hidden corruption to continue) etc. )
- anti-family, roll back family income splitting, reduce/rollback cheques to parents, candidates must be pro-abortion, only benefits if you use their daycare program.

Well like I said feel free to take parts or as a whole and edit or just mail to as many as you want. It is from alot of sources and mostly cut and past from different articles and feel fee to use it. Edit and take credit, send it to papers, post it on forums what ever you think will get some to open their eyes, I am much more concerned about another Trudeau ruining the country and Furieux Tom Mulcair and his policies don't seem any better and maybe worse.

I believe Harper generally has the right idea about the economics of the country.

There's a few things that I perceive are issues though, it would be good to get some supportive evidence to put my mind at ease on these issues:

- Harper has been labelled by some a "bully", who pushes his agenda through. That would cause concern in regards to democracy, and whether my representative in parlaiment is really voting for me, or for Harper.
- The whole revoke citizenship thing - does that only apply to people who carry dual citizenship, and are not Canadian by birth right? I don't see how you could revoke citizenship of a person who was born in Canada. I think you can revoke their rights as a citizen, as they do with prisoners, but not their citizenship (this would make them a non-citizen in any country).
- Harper has been viewed to reduce help to those in need. Look at applications by refugees. People need help, and one of our values has always been that. Has that changed?
- Also look at the guy recently freed from Egypt. Canadian government apparently did very little to help. If some government around the world takes advantage of us, are we not going to get support from the Canadian government???
- Bill C-51. That seems to have gone against our rights. I understand the purpose, but this power in the hands of the wrong people (corrupt government officials, corrupt police, etc) can be used to extort people, victimize the innocent, etc. Why was this pushed through parliament so quickly? Isn't there better wording that would respect people's rights to an opinion, rights to privacy, etc.?

1) If you don't have a strong leader who puts the reigns to them think about the crowd the Conservatives have, centre to libertarian, as for being a bully just compare him to Justin for example. Justin has said you must agree with manmade global warming and be pro-abortion to even be a candidate and there are several examples above where candidates were blackballed, dates changed etc. and the Liberals are being sued, even though Justin promised several times open nominations. No there needs to be discipline within every organization or it is just a mob... sort of like the NDP, no real leader, rule by mob. 2) There are lots of protections in the the law and one of them is that a person cannot be stateless and must be a dual citizen.

3) The Canadian gov't has been doing alot including dropping bombs on the CAUSE of the problem, something the other two parties won't. The NDP and Liberals only care about those that can get out of the country and might vote for them if they get here, the millions unable to escape tough luck.

4) He was a charged criminal and it was brought up several times but let's put it the other way, the guy that just lost his citizenship in Canada that was in the Toronto 18, do you think Jordan should decide if he is persecuted and charged? The best solution was to put pressure and observe the proceedings of the trial it seemed to me, he wasn't being tortured or facing a death sentence and there was clearly the issue of what if the gov't was correct.

5) The bill was out for months, the Liberals agreed to it, there were revisions...not a rush job it seems to even though I can see some misuse. C-51 If we assume that Canada will remain a democracy that likes freedoms then the issues about C-51 seem tiny as compared to Justin talking about changes to the CSE. Which is worse, a gov't official having the ability to take down something advocating violence on a webpage (or any of the other items in there) or an organization that could spy on all your internet and access your e-mail, posts on web pages, the pages you go to if they were given approval. Imagine how easy it would be to monitor all RPAL owners or even PAL owners. Then the difference becomes someone advocating trying to do a Guy Fawkes on Ottawa and someone saying Justin is an idiot and need a good swift kick in the butt... both are threats (one in reality, one with no intention of actually doing) in that wonderful legal limbo reality and if a gov't with the power to monitor everything suddenly has the power to do it and a leader like Justin..... that should p. you o. and scare you some!

I'll take a stab at answering your questions as best I can. First,about the "bully" thing,I call it strong leadership. The great downfall of governments is when individuals try to hijack party policy. There's no room for "crusaders" or miscreants. Every party in government has a a party "whip". It's his/her job to keep the minions "toeing the party line",meaning the ruling party's official agenda and policy. A classic example of this was during the gun control vote where the NDP pulled their dissenting MP's into line,despite tremendous pressure and very clear directives from their constituents. This illustrates why it's important to vote for a party
riding candidate,even if you personally dislike him/her if their party agenda is in line with your personal expectations.

The citizenship revocation applies to people with dual citizenship,especially,those who took out citizenship as an infiltration tactic to establish a terrorist base within the country. Personally,I don't think we should deport them. I'd march them out to the gallows and hang them like common scum,in public and on television within 20 minutes of conviction.

Socialists love to find ways to advance their agenda always at the expense of working people through taxes that we all pay. If you want to find out exactly where they stand,the next time you hear one of them say their favorite union mantra of "Make the rich pay",ask them to define "rich". You'll quickly find that they've set the bar exceedingly high to make damn sure nobody can include them. Throwing billions upon billions of dollars,for a perfect example,at First Nations,hasn't helped their situation in the least,in fact,fueling corruption and exploitation by a distinct criminal element. Mohammed Fahmy can complain all he wants,but,our government did all they could,legally, to assist in his representation and subsequent release. Canadians need to understand that if they get into trouble in a foreign country,they're literally at the mercy of the justice system in that place at the time. There's no way any foreign country can interfere with the sovereignty of another nation. To do so can be considered an act of war.

Bill C-51 (without getting into a long,drawn-out,nitpicky,useless discussion with the Liberals on this forum) has many systems of "checks and balances" built in to stop political abuse. It's quite apparent that some civil liberties needed to be slightly modified to enable law enforcement use of investigative techniques to combat terrorism in Canada and allied countries abroad. Nothing is ever done in a vacuum or dark hole. There is always public accountability and oversight at every level. Liberals would have us believe that this legislation completely destroys civil liberties,even though they voted with the Conservatives in the last session of Parliament. Typically,both The Libs and NDP are trying to suck and blow at the same time.

Everything I look at talks about what will happen with a Liberal or NDP gov't, higher taxes, more debt, more corruption (already seen Gagnier and Constituency offices)... but someone pointed out an implication I hadn't thought very deep about.
