The following video is a brief view of some of the underwater action during our latest trip to Saskatchewan. We took 4 of these baits on our last trip - one was bitten off by a big pike and the other three are covered in teeth marks.

Great footage! Gotta agree that the camera strikes are the best part. Any time I fish jointed baits for pike I also get 98% of the strikes on the pause.
I honestly enjoyed every second of that. It also made me come to the full realization that many strikes WILL be misses and failed hook sets, and that the fault doesn't necessarily lie with us.
BTW, I kept asking myself, how does anything else LIVE in those waters?
Thanks for the comments! It is amazing how many times the pike will ether just bump the lure or miss it completely. They also go after the camera a lot also and I'm thinking they're after what the lure is chasing.
