So far our group of 3 have not filled any tags. We only saw one buck running across the field on Monday around the noon hour. Haven't been hearing many shots and we have spoken to other hunters in the area they all have similar stories. We usually harvest 2 deer, I'm curious to know how other groups in 81a are doing.
Our groups seen 15 deer... shot at 2 other shots were missed... all the deer we have seen but one have been running...

Two mature does and a yearling buck Monday morning North of Marsville. I passed, but am now regretting that decision!
No sightings since.

Almost 400 acres north west of Shelbourne and it's very, very, very slow
Group of four. Got one doe Monday morning. Haven't seen anything since
I quit hunting that area because of lack of deer about 5 years agi....gang of 7 hunting 450 acres behind my dads this week. They seen a doe n fawn but let them pass...we are between oville and shelburne
Are you guys pushing or just seating? Also, do you think it could be because of the warm weather and southern wind?
good to hear in light of the what sounds like shortage, you're passsing on smaller does and fawns.
Pushing all day and sitting the last few hours. Very little tracks and next to no scat. Have noticed a large decline in numbers the last few years.

Monday was pretty quiet on our property. Tuesday we took home a 7 pointer and a good sized doe.
Back out today with alot more pressure on properties around us, unfortunately lost the blood trail on the doe , spent the rest of the day trying to track her down.
There are not near as many deer in our area. Had a tough winter last year, and there are lots of coyotes. Saw a doe and a fawn, she has been here all summer. Got a buck Monday night. Very few out hunting and haven't heard a lot of shooting. old243
Lots of shots Monday morning in the Markdale area. I had one doe blowing and hissing Monday morning when the wind changed. Haven't seen a deer yet. Lots of guys driving around though!
