Well almost time. Seeing as people will probably be out soon to begin Scouting for Turkey then shortly after that camping season starts. So maybe it's time for a Breakfast in Kemptville. Same time 9:30 AM same place in Kemptville the Five Star. Thinking maybe either Saturday March 26 or Saturday April 2.
Always fun trying to get a day when it's 'open' on the calendar :)
March 12th and 19th are good for me..
I'm not available on the 26th...but OK for the Sun 27th...
Apr 2nd if the Grenville Gun Show in Prescott...I think Fox is working it and I'm going to it.
Apr 9th is the Richmond (Carp) Gun Show...
Rest of Apr is good for me..
Saturday or Sundays are always fine. March 19,20 or 27.
I will be going to the Grenville show as well and maybe Carp.

They serve a hardy breakfast at the Grenville show, but I don't think they have enough seats to host a large group...informally we could go a little early and enjoy some pancakes before the show...but it is usually busy.

50 cents a shot and they will have a 223 a 9mm semi auto pistol and some cowboy action. I believe there will also be shooting on the trap range for 50 cents as well, a good way to bring friends and family who may have never shot or wants to shoot things they may not be able to any other time, like the 45-70 blackpowder or 9mm :)Quote:

They are about 6 hours away Mateo , trust me ,, I thought about it as well cause I would like to meet some of these characters as well.
I know lol. It's quite a distance but I still want to go most likely. I'm aiming at being there 9am on Saturday so let me know if you want to car pool lol. Chances of me going are pretty high haha
It's a good nice gun show but small. Fox could best explain what it's like there. But as Hunter John has said it is a 6 hour drive. I will only be at the show for maybe 3 hrs. If you do show up I will be wearing my Dirty old white Tilly hat. I suspect the following people will be there.

If you are coming from Burlington, then it is 4 hrs or less to the Grenville site.

Hi all I know I don't post much, but I am an avid reader. I will be at the show on Saturday with the wife and 2 year old grandson (complete with ear defenders LOL) Hope to be able to meet some of the Ottawa and area members. Also we will hopefully be joining the club.
Think we should make name tags... ODDERS _ Line052 - AKA- Mark. That way we can spot each other...lol
I'll be wearing my OFAH ball cap...just because some guy gave me a good deal once for wearing it at a gun show :)
I will probably be in my red Raptors hat as it's the only one I ever found that fits me lol. Does any one know any cheap decent hotels in the area? I might need to use one.

I went to a few gun stores on the way home looking for one but none had them in 223. Thank you Fox for pointing me towards that guy from the Co-op store. I got his card and actually went to their store. They didn't have the 223 Axis but the store was great and I had a great discussion with one of their staff there about the 223 vs 270.
Overall this was weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell worth the drive from Burlington. Hope to see you guys soon
I'm probably going to try to find Axis 223 at Cabelas or talk to my local store Al Simmons to see if they can get one.
In the mid time, if anyone has one they want to sell let me know. Thank you gentlemen
Mateo, if you manage to get an Axis from the Old Co-Op I don't mind lugging it to Burlington. I pass thru routinely on my way to St. Catharines to visit family.
