Why are you always trolling with this American S$%t. What kind of discussion are you trying to get going? Why don't you start threads about hunting or fishing in Ontario.
Uh, because he is posting in OFF TOPIC where non hunting/non fishing posts are supposed to be?
There's no problem wanting to know what goes on in the rest of North America (although its not the center of the universe) it depends on who is spinning the knowledge. And BTW, Canadians do care about what is going on in the rest of the world as well.
Well said sawbill.
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. That's so funny. I love it. Good luck.
I'm posting this while drinking a shiner and listening to the allman brothers so I have nothing negative to add about the states
If you wake up tomorrow with a nasty hangover will your views change?
You bit..........and what's wrong with the video content?
I was interested in Canadian philosophy of government and its history. I read and researched to try and understand the Canadian "way" of government, law and politics.
Why so defensive? It's in off topic. You have issues with that are just what you deem should be posted?
Well Fox - just for you -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXUz-Nntyks
Just a response to a neighbour.
The weather is changing, no need for JoePa, no need to be stressed out about online videos.
Putting the garden in, putting in the fence posts, enjoying life and not caring anymore.
Have fun Joe, your America is the only country that matters.
JoePa, that's a great video. Why doesn't this judge run for presidency in the USA????
Way, way, way better than ALL the current options.
I got about 3 minutes in , on a 36 minute video. Too many things to do instead of listening to rambling. I tried.
We need a Trump like we need a 12 gauge challenger in the head. You keep that baffoon on your side.
Actually, Trump could make a decision on his own. Trudope! Not likely. Sunny Days though.
Sad world when we are left comparing JT to Trump. One a blathering selfie obessed idiot the other a loud mouth bigot whose father was KKK and whose family business has its roots in a brothel.
Joe there seems to be a lot of this going on down south

Yes Cant' mistakes are made and sometimes people pay for them but - freedom and liberty have a price but well worth it
I think that's exactly what sawbill is trying to say. Trudope can't get too far implementing stupid ideas given the balance of power. Although he sure has found some way to spend all our money by donating it to third world countries! And, no I didn't vote for him. So I didn't pick him.
Anybody that voted for Trudeau and the Liberals deserves to have every dollar in their pocket and bank accounts turned into confetti while they watch,be forced to live in a dryer box under a 401 overpass and eat out of garbage pails behind restaurants.
We had our primary elections here in Pa. last week - I voted for Trump - what he says is exactly the way I feel about various issues - I probably would have voted for Cruz but I don't think he has a chance - I hope Trump gets enough delegates to clinch the nomination - our country is going in the wrong direction and we need someone to turn it around - I'll tell you one thing - if Hillary ever wins its all over but the shouting - this country would be doomed - what we really need is a third party because the Democrats and Republicans have screwed the people
Ive said it elsewhere Joe. What many ( the left) in the U.S. fail to realize while they feel morally and intellectually superior, is that Trump is popular for reasons. They aren't bright enough to figure those reasons out...funny that.
Trump is scary though, as is Hillary and Bernie. So very, very similar TO CANADA, where we now have Wynne and JT, the "selfie" king.
If Trump were to win, things could go south in a hurry. Not saying, he doesn't have it "right", but he's a loose Canon, not unlike Rob Ford.
A third party would be a worst-case scenario for America,Joe. We have it up here and it's always been a vote-splitting disaster. This country is perpetually on a slow-motion train wreck with one party dedicated to ripping apart confederation (Bloc Quebecois),another dedicated to communist ideals under the guise of socialism (NDP) and progressive socialism (Liberals) dedicated to the absolute control of all things through politically correct legislation from cradle to grave through exhorbitant taxation to pay for ultra socialist programs that only benefit the distinct few. Toss in a couple of lunatic fringe parties like the Greens,Marxist-Leninists for good measure and the best description is a "dog's breakfast of barf." The only party we have that stands for the ordinary,honest,straight-shooting,salt-of-the-Earth family is The Conservatives and Canadians just voted them out. Learn from others mistakes,Joe.
Being The President , is not a one man show , and there are those that did like Rob Ford, and did not consider him a loose cannon, what he did in private life should not have had any impact on his job as the head of a large city.Quote:

Voting for hillary/billary or sanders in like the chickens voting for Col. Sanders..........
Not a really good choice of the three candidates, but the US is definitely headed in a bad and dangerous direction on numerous strategic fronts.
There is a wave of unrest, polarization and there is zero common ground. Many see it as the tipping point depending on their perspective whether personal, corporate or global.
I have trouble finding any good choices that the US has made in the recent past.
Trump really just represents a faceless manifestation of dissatisfaction on almost every topic of Government edicts.
Exactly R and it's what many don't see/understand, despite their intellectual superiority. And why has the dissatisfaction grown so much. Why are so many disenfranchised and more.........? To busy looking down their noses, ridiculing him and his supporters, and more....To see that really, they gave birth to it, and thus him.
Jaycee, Trump is scary for a number of reasons. One, he has no problems with being a firebrand. Not something anyone generally wants around powder kegs. The US has been on a slow burn for some years now. He isn't just lighting the fuse, he's a torch in the powder room. The polarization in the US is reaching critical levels, its about blow and implode. On the foreign policy front, with so much going on in the world? Loose Canons can be good, see Rob Ford. They can also be bad.
I suspect this as reality.......Trump is doing whatever he needs to do to get the people back in the game. Meaning that with the crap we have in the Congress that personally don't want Trump because he may cost them their cushy job in their own regions. Which sort of forces them to accept him or face consequences at home.
I think he is somewhat of what he portrays but I think it's behavior to get the public so much behind him that it places the Republican Party in the position to either choose a Trump nominee or try to hold their jobs with their constituents at home and keep the party from splitting. Or Trump trying to go independent.
Plus there is an active never, never, ever Hillary sentiment among the masses and the Republican Party.
When you look at a Republican Party caught between Trump (what the people want) and what their own region may want, coupled with the hate for Hillary,ie. Benghazi, Arab Spring, Security clearance breaches, having Bill as Prez again, etc., etc. it puts the fire under the individual Republican members to put their job or the Country's wishes first.
I think if Trump wins, the reality will set in of how integrated his position is, his business sense will lead and there will be less radical trash talk.
Simply put at the moment, Trump trash talks, Hillary wants to be the first black woman as President and Bernie is a liberal idiot with no concept of revenue vs expenditure.
I had to laugh - the other day Trump had a speaking engagement in calif. - outside of the arena were thousands of protestors - causing damage and flying the Mexican flag - can't these pin heads realize that what they are doing is only adding to the number of people who will back Trump - I'm looking forward to the convention in July - should be real interesting to watch what will be going on outside - the police will be cracking some heads for sure - entertainment at its best
I agree that people like me are the problem. I get up at 3:45 am , 6 days a week to drive two hours to work 10 hours a day and I am still not where I want to be ( I am only 33 though so still lots of time I hope ) . Taking 30 minutes out of my day to listen to American politics is not my preferred way to spend my free time. I realize that their politics affect our country greatly , but I don't see myself making a difference as I don't have any American friends to try and persuade one way or the other. I do spend a lot more time reading up on local issues and work related regulations.
Watching the American primaries is the new Olympics for me. I can't wait for Tuesday night. Lol
Woody, are you sure you didn't mean to type 'primates' instead?
JoePa--anyone who votes for Trump deserves a whack in the side of the head to see if it can kick start their brain!!
Harold - One thing I don't do is respond to what wimps say - I'll let me buddy Roster answer for me - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfegGAcZwRE
I saw a survey where 18% of US college/univ. professors self identified as Marxist. 26% of Social science, Political science and IIRC history professors self identified as Marxist.
Funny, odumbo preached change and not a peep from the marxist left.
An American grassroots backlash about the status quo sweeps America and some of what you hear from the lefties is Trump supporters need a whack upside the head.
Almost every time you hear that, it is from the Liberal left that has rotted the morals and degraded America in every category from social, economic, foreign policy, education, environmental, productivity, etc. etc. OR from someone who voted for a more ridiculous Marxist like Trudeau.
Harold...Give your own head a good whack and then a shake. Rinse and repeat until you can think straight(er).

skypilot! I really like that last sentence, [great]. :goodstuff: :thumbup::thumbup:
[QUOTE=jaycee;973117]Thanks J.
People don't understand that it "ain't" Trump.
Americans has always felt that way. They have just been the silent majority(what we were gonna vote for Romney?) as they watched the dismantling of a nation into immorality, drugs, poverty, economic ruin and dangerous foreign and immigration policy.
Obama has divided America more than Trump ever could. Pick a topic, any topic. Race, terrorism, foreign policy, policing, prisons, environmental, Unions, you get the picture.
Pile on the hatred for the Clintons and you really are seeing people fed up with the left's social engineering, economics, et al and also a voting base against Clinton.
Bernie is just the village idiot promising that same ol' BS "socialist change" that the snake oil salesman Odumbo peddled and shoved down America's gullet.
The real honest shame is that not one decent human being out of 310 Million wants to associate with the current governmental vermin so we are left with only Trump, Bernie and Billary to choose from.
Time and time again this is what Trump has said he would do -
Build a wall and stop illegal immigration
Rebuild the military to a point that no one will mess with us
Create jobs by leveling the playing field with countries like China, Japan and Mexico
Support the 2nd Amendment
Replace Obama Care with something that will work
Get rid of Common Core and bring education back to the local level
Defeat ISIS hard and fast
Stop protecting other countries for free - make them contribute
Support Israel
Provide citizens with an alternative to the present fat-cats running Washington
Put a foreign policy in place that makes scene
And while doing these throw political correctness out the window and tell it like it is
How could one not vote for him - especially when he is running against a known liar and crook who will just be another Obama
