You read that right. She is selling shares in Hydro to First Nations below market value and get this, she's lending them money to buy them :scream:. What could go wrong in this scenario? Another group she has bought off to cement her hold on us. She will be in power until the creditors divide up the assets and change the locks down at Queens Park.

Yup and none of that will help the average middle class taxpayer. She will live like a queen on our money the rest of her life as will her entourage of incompetent fools. Although there was so much dirt exposed on the Libranos that they should have been decimated yet they got a promotion to a majority mandate. Ontario needs a new moral compass I think the one we use now has a bent needle.

It's not unusual to sell certain folk prime shares at lower costs. Corporations do it so EEs and execs. can have stock options to hold for a chance at profit. It's a "perk" sometimes and a "make me look good like I care" other times.Quote:

Our securities and exchange laws are a lot tighter and much more strict than in the US. That's why we weren't in as much shyte financially,during the 2008 "too big to fail" economic meltdown. There's a couple of finance guys on this forum that can explain it a lot better than I can. While it may not be unusual for private companies to do something like this, this is a public corporation which is being sold and any actions which facilitate this process should be above board. The first round of selling these shares off (to the OPG/Hydro One employees and not general public) shouldn't have been an exclusive sell. This time she is selling the shares not only below market value but she is loaning the money to the people who she is exclusively selling the shares to. That money she is loaning is probably not a high interest loan either because lending rates are so low right now and since we are broke she has more than likely had to borrow that money to lend it. The fact she has the audacity to do something like this without it being a major policy in the last election shows how truly underhanded she is. She has decided to sell a majority of Hydro One, she has removed a public lane from the most busiest highway in Ontario in the busiest city and made it pay to play (as well as a high occupancy lane). Ontarians are ok with all this. They gave her a majority last election and she will win next time too. Unless you are in the public service or don't consume energy in any form orbit products that consume energy to get to market the comming carbon taxes will probably erode your disposable income.
