I use Trimble GPS Hunt Pro app. It has other info as well. I primarily use its moon and sun phases as well as the ballistic charts.
the weather network...

I agree with Fratri. Plain old Weather Network gives me temp, sunrise/sunset, hour by hour temps for thermals, hour by hour weather AND the wind direction. All in one simple spot that pops up as soon as you open the icon.
I think most GPS units will provide the proper times. Important to keep in mind the exact times are based on the exact geographic locations. 2-3 minutes may not seem like a lot, but if the CO is watching the clock, you better be on the same page?
The Weather Network,by far. It's accepted as the gold standard as evidence for Court.
Weather Network.
We've never been too far from a town so we always used the local newspaper. Its in print (maybe not always exactly correct) but its in black and white and if you abide by those times it shows your intentions are good.
Any weather forecast online site, Weather Network been the last one I would check though....
ihunt Ontario
My gps has sunrise/set based on my exact location. Tough to beat that. Otherwise it's weather network
I use the Ihunt app.
I use this. I download the data for the whole year and I use it in a spreadsheet as my hunting journal. That way, when I fill it out, I can see the sunrise and sunset time for the next outing.

can weathernetwork give you sunrise/sunset for dates other than today? I am not able to pull that info up on their website or app but it could be just me.
like to know times for dates in advance. not always in cell service area when hunting.
I usually google location X sunrise/sunset times or something to that effect. websites come up. check a few, and if they agree then I am confident the answer is correct.
looking out the window.....;) sorry couldn't resist.
I use my weather network app.
Enviroment Canada all around best site for weather information. I have an icon on my phone and a seperate one for the radar. Real time precipatation information. You can literally know within 10 minutes of when precip is coming or leaving an area. You have to play with it a bit to understand the features but i find it helpful and entertaining....oh of course sun up/down times as well
