Ok who has one ??
Good luck hopefully someone will Pm you with the info requested.
Most likely this will quickly degenerate into Chocolates aren't as good as blacks and /or yellows or British not as good as North Americans.
Not worried about that. After 30 plus years of breeding ft / ht labs in pretty sure I can shut that down pretty quick.
Not a lab guy and this may seem like a stupid question but does one color conceal better from being detected by Ducks?

Mike...what r u doing looking for a chocolate?
But I did hear Ammo has a brother....
Look no further...lots of hard core hunters here but with only 2 posts you wouldn't necessarily know that.
Why not buy a silver lab.... LOL!!!!!!!!!!
P.M. 4Weieght. He has an excellent choc. He can put you in touch with his breeder.
Silvers are old news. You need a charcoal.

is an ammo niece. Sire is ammo sibling
Levi is south already. Was hoping for live cover of a maiden female. Meant still here in Ontario. But Levi may be the man next time around. Tough to beat that pedigree. Also 4Weight and I have messaged and may be an option.
What the heck are you talking about ! lol send a PM.
YD here's some information to help:
Roux was the sire of FC AFC FTC CNAFTC Upon the Wings of an Answered Prayer "Ammo," the all time high point derby dog. She is also the record holder for all age points in a single year and the most double headers in a single year.
Baby Duck has a choc female out of a sibling of Ammo and is obviously looking for a male to cross on his yet to be bred female. Levi is a choc male running on the Ontario circuit but has been sent south already for winter training. He's not interested in doing an AI breeding.
If more chocolates were like Ammo, there certainly would be more chocolates running the field trial circuit and therefore more interest in having one. Ammo did not accumulate these points as a lucky dog, on the contrary, she's an outstanding Labrador worthy of that recognition. I judged the National 2 years ago so I had a ringside seat watching her run throughout the week right through to the end.
As an aside, black dogs dominate field trials, yellow dogs next, very, very few goldens and chocolates compete and almost no peakes.....those are the statistics, not someone's opinion. However, dogs like Ammo are certainly very special and in this case an outstanding chocolate female.
Hope this helps.
That most definitely clears things up.
If people bred the way some of these dogs are select bred....
A lot to it when done properly
