Canadians who want to meet Justin Trudeau during his upcoming road tour town halls are being asked to first register their personal details with Liberal MPs.That puts a political taint on the prime minister’s attempt at grassroots mingling, Conservative MP Candice Bergen (Portage--Lisgar) said Wednesday.

“Don’t call it an open town hall when it’s actually a Liberal rally,” she said. “It’s not at all the back-to-the-people tour that the prime minister described.”



What’s he planning via the Liberal website is not a Tim Horton’s, town hall coffee shop event. I think that’s clear,” Bergen said.Instead, she said it appears these events are “Liberal partisan event where they’re getting data and information and building up their own brand.”

Do Canadians we really expect an open and honest conversation with the temporary PM ? Canadians need to rally outside of these events and ask him to resign.

This so-called "tour" is being very carefully choreographed by LPOC handlers. Only the Liberal Party faithful are being allowed contact near the PM in these meet-and-greets to avoid awkward questions from opposition members because he can't think on his feet quick enough to answer even the most mundane questions. The whole thing is a scam.

The Liberal party should be picking up the cost of this early campaign tour. Bahhahha...... I just made a funny.

Well he has to replace Dion and the vote there might be "interesting".... hence the campaign trail.

I have yet to see a schedule .... I think a nice sign standing by the door saying "No Carbon Tax", "Freedom from Liberal waste in 2019", "Balance the budget, save my child's and her child's future", "Liberal lies, $10B is now $30B and decades to balance, time for a real leader who cares" etc. would be a nice break.

The fiasco in Peterborough really glued his a** to the wall. All he could do was bluster,dismiss,then,come up some obviously coached bullshyte about "shutting down the oil sands". If that doesn't get the attention of the GeeTeeYay Liberal elite voters,there's no hope for them. It should really seal the Liberal's fate in the west. I think there's little doubt that this tour will surely light the fuse.

The woman who told Prime Minister Justin Trudeau she could barely afford to eat after paying her carbon tax and hydro bills now says she's been receiving threats online.

Kathy Katula, the 54-year-old mother of four and grandma of three, said after she was featured in the Toronto Sun about her Peterborough townhall appearance with Trudeau on Friday, trolls and haters have been flooding her Facebook wall with negative comments.



It seems the Liebral supporters are trying to reach the Democratic Clinton supporter level.

That’s because Liberals believe that Canadians will be more impressed by the way Trudeau handles interlocutors like Zack than they will be convinced by the substance of any criticism.



Seems the show is more important than the truth to the Trudeau and Liberal supporters, as Canada sinks.

I just can't believe the amount of fumbling going on here, the obvious avoidance tactics from answering real questions and doing real change and the like. It is unreal. It's like no politician even bothers to hide their lies and what they are doing anymore... and as Canadians we just take it.
