Well after 4 years of losing Maggie (our 15 year old chocolate lab) we finally decided to get another hunting partner. I will admit I was getting tired of picking up my ducks and geese. Thanks to everyone. He has been a real pleasure. We have been so lucky with him. He is about 8 weeks in that picture.
You might consider contacting the Eastern Ontario Retriever Club. They have a good group of people not far from you, that train together.

Drake is doing great! Kids just love him to death. I’m really looking forward to this fall with him. He did have his first retrieve on a goose in the 2017 season. First pic is his first retrieve, second pic is him by the fire place at 1 year old.

WOW that is all I can say. He is a beautiful dog. Reminds me of my boy when he was that age. That pic by the fire place needs to be framed.
