Richard,
N110 or AA5744 are good to use.
I use AA 5744... Great results with this... :)
5744 was always accurate with mine. But it is really pricey if you can find it. Bullseye in London had some last time I looked. I have an almost full pound of 4759 that isn't being used...

What loads are you using....I have a stock ML10 2 ....right now I'm using 47 grains of IMR 4198..1.5-2 @ 100 yards........
Not alot of info I trust...but I'd trust you and most of the people on this forum....I have been reloading for 10 + years too...so I know to start small and go from there...it's just without the brass to examine or the feel of the bolt I am nervous when increasing my loads , as I have no definate way to tell if the load is to hot, or getting there

you need more 4198 than you're presently using before it'll shine,

You actually bought some from me....and gave me some of the Sabots.....haven't used them yet.
I'm using the Ones that came with the Hornady bullets

what weight bullets are you using? These Savages do better with 300 grainers. and the 57 grs you're using is where you should be starting and working up, there's plenty more room and you'll still be well within safe pressures.
Also if you're shooting for accuracy make sure you leave enough time between shots for the barrel to cool down ( heat destroys sabots)
