That's what happens when you're poop face and puttin around in yo car.
Which is why we shouldn't judge. Tiger was released and not charged as symptoms were the result of too many pain pills following another back surgery.

It can still result in a dui
Alcohol or pills, it doesn't matter, as was mentioned in the previous post, "It still results in an DUI charge.
[COLOR=#48494A] The report noted that the golfer changed his story about where he was going and where he was coming from, originally saying that he was coming from "L.A." and on his way to "Orange County" before stating that he had no idea where he was. Woods was arrested in Jupiter, Florida.
[COLOR=#48494A]both tires on the driver's side of Woods' car were flat at the time of his arrest and there was damage to the front and rear bumpers.
In view of the above, who knows where he was or what he had done , possibly involved in an accident and hurt someone ?
I happen to think impaired driving by phone usage should be on that list as well
A phone is not an impairment, it is distraction, not unlike getting in an accident when smacking your kid in the back seat, eating a foot long sub behind the wheel or reading the paper in traffic.
Impaired and distracted though can both result in vehicular manslaughter and I think doing something behind the wheel that can kill someone needs to have a lot harsher consequences than it currently does.
He's still charged with DWI by drugs. He was released on a personal recog and must appear in Court at a later date. Evidence of DWI doesn't necessarily involve alcohol and a breathalyzer isn't necessary for a conviction. He failed physical roadside tests, was incoherent with slurred speech and wasn't completely aware of his location or what he was doing. That's a slam-dunk for conviction. He knew he shouldn't have been driving while taking the meds,so,I'm having trouble generating a lot of sympathy for him. Stupid is as stupid does. He could have killed people.
I have a cocktail of pills prescribed to me for chronic back issues. 2 are muscle relaxants (cyclobenzaprine & naproxin) and 1 is a morphine based narcotic. Any 2 of them combined knocks me the eff out. And the doctor warned me of that, and my first use of them proved it.
So i don't dose and drive.
But then again, i'm not a rich privileged a-hole who thinks he can do whatever he wants.
Absolutely.
Not sure why I got into this ; I had a stroke this week so maybe I'm becoming more argumentative - look out :)
The point I was trying to make , which obviously I didn't make very well, is that we should not jump to judge someone - happens fast and quickly on forums. I don't like to kick a guy when he's down , and who of us would want our worst day mug shot posted around the world? I know you are a honorable Officer , but who gives the Police the right to make someone's mug shot available ? -let alone they haven't even been found guilty yet.
If a friend of mine on the forum screwed up -easily done with drugs or booze- and I opened the Free Press to see his/her mug shot , I would be outraged.
My rant has nothing to do do with Tiger particularly, but with judging , kicking when down and mug shots.
( I never get going like this - please allow me one a year. :) )
Sorry to hear that Sharon . I hope your husband is taking good care of you !
I wish you a very speedy recovery,Sharon. That's scary stuff, indeed. Take it easy until the "smoke clears." I know many question why mug shots, charges and trial information is public information, especially, the embarrassing stuff ,but,we all must remember that in a free and democratic society,we have a constitutional right that protects us against false arrest and imprisonment without due process and security of the person. One of the bulwarks of that is that nothing can be done in secret. The best way to prevent that is that all information may be published except under Judicial discretion and only as a temporary measure to protect evidence gathering and processing. That prevents tin pot dictators from making opposition disappear.
Good point - I'll have to think on that. Thanks.
I wish you a speedy recovery Sharon.
At least they photo shopped his mug shot from a green to blue background and fixed his hair..........
