Fish finder setups for ice fishing

I recently got a fish finder and started making my own setup. It’s going alright so far but I’m curious to see everyone else’s for ideas.

Good idea, but I would have gone with a much smaller cooler

I’m doing it in compartments, the bottom will be for the battery and extra battery along with extra crimps and tools I case if the wires get broken on the ice. Then I’m cutting a sheet of plywood to sit on top of that with a gap where the battery is for the wires and any heat made by the battery.

The top will be for small tackle boxes and my fish scale.

Yea after the extra battery and everything in now I notice that it has got pretty heavy [emoji15]

My husky will let me know if it needs to come off though lol. We usually take the sled out to the hut but when we walk off the north end of Georgina island I will find out.

I used a cooler also. This one is a little more compact, everything fits inside the lid flips up and the gimbal is attached to the underside of the lid and folds nicely away when closed. The orange colour stands out great against the snow and ice.

my setup is pretty much the same and works great mine is in a tool bag with a flip top.
