Just curious what the cross bow hunters are using. I am shooting Quills (Luminok) with 125gr Spitfires on my 335 Micro. I zero'd the scope and at 30yds it was a tack driver.

Exact same bow and bolts but tipped with 125 grain G5s.
Same bow and bolts, but am shooting 125gr slicktricks.... so far very happy with the resultsQuote:

They fly really well. I get great groups, maybe can even get them touching or close to touching up to 40 yds.... So the groups are great but the performance I had on the deer has been outstanding. 3 deer taken with them and not one went over 40 yds... Maybe a bit lucky but I will be sticking with them until my confidence with them fades. :)Quote:

OK I'm a dinosaur I still use a Exocet 200. I work for a retailer that carries Excaliburs but I can't bring myself to justify a new bow. I was just shooting mine today and after shooting 1 bolt at 20, 30 and 40 yds hitting my tiny target my 3rd shot at 50 hit my target which was a little piece of paper the size of my thumbnail. The other 2 were within 2" and this was freehand, no rest. The only thing I don't like about it is the width, it's just a pain to carry through the woods. TC
