Just watching the news and just saw that Andrew Scheer is not committing to keeping cannabis legal if elected. He must be hell bent to commit political suicide. Imagine the people that would be unemployed, all the big pot grow ops they built and the tax revenue.
Let me just guess. It was the CBC right?
Hmm, maybe I misheard but I thought he didn't commit to delegalizing it, which would be a smart move. I don't know how long the lustre is going to last on this whole deal anyway, new customers will get fed up with the prices and lack of availability that is already happening. Besides, as we all know everything the liberals get their mitts into gets screwed up, I can't see anything different happening here.

tip toe .... or maybe he really doesn't have enough info to make a good decision. I bet he will have much better information to make an informed decision in 6 months from now ... so why not get the data to make an informed decision, instead of forcing someone to make a decision purely based on emotion or off the top of his head? Sometimes I wish politicians would understand implications better before making stupid decisions ... kind of like carbon tax which will never go towards helping the environment...

For example, the rest of the episode of Question Period I watched, the host continuously mentioned that Andrew Scheer did not say no when asked about reversing legalization. When your answer requires context to explain it, it's very easy to twist.
